Searched on google following a ridiculous quote on uber of £45. - Very friendly service. - open and upfront on cost £21 and stuck to it. - Very friendly helpful driver couldnt do more to help with luggage. - Driver had good conversations unlike uber drivers who are usually talking to someone else on the phone. - Only downside is that you cant tip the driver if paying by card. I would suggest having a gratuity tab like restuarants for tips. Get this sorted please for the driver to be rewarded!
Excellent service from start to finish! My minicab arrived right on time, the car was spotless, and the driver was friendly, professional, and knew the routes well. Specifically asked for a driver who can help with luggage and confirmed price as £46. Driver was extremely rude, right from the arrival. Couldn’t help with luggage because of his back. Said price is ‘sometimes 40 or 46’??? And ‘it doesn’t matter and £6 is nothing’.??? -> on these points, I hold A1 accountable for failing to meet expectations and lack of clarity. Violent driving. Said ‘you can get off if you want’. Travelled in terror. Disappointed as a customer of 20+ years. Hope you improve.
Great service. Controller greeted me and was very polite. Driver turned up on time and was understanding about cash point not working. Normally drivers leave if you don't have cash, even when not your fault. He was accommodating and patient in stopping at next cash point. Thank you for a service very well delivered. Definitely be using again. Highly recommended.
Horrific experience with this company. Nearly had to call the police on the manager. Was quoted £40 for a car ride and then once in the vehicle the driver said he was told to charge me £80. He then called his manager whilst driving and put me on the phone to him. This manager began to scream and swear at me and my family over the phone and then threatened me. This was frightening as the driver knew my home address from the ride journey. I would never use this service and would seriously recommend that no one else does
We booked several hours in advance, and had a train to catch. Taxi was late, pulled up further down the road to us in an odd place in oncoming traffic. Vehicle was unmarked, not dud the driver have his details on display as required by law. Upon arrival no thank you or good bye, just annoyance that we wanted to pay via card not cash.
Very helpful operater who assigned me a car straight away. Unfortunately I was assigned an extremely rude driver - Gave me a very dirty look as I got in. I opened the window en route and without saying anything he closed it. I asked that I have it open please because I'd like some air (and covid) and he said that covid was over and that the rain would "damage his car". It was barely raining at all, spitting somewhat. He then berated me at the end while I was waiting to pay and left me feeling very angry that I'd given this company money.
Disgusting owners. My elderly grandfather calls me telling me that the cab he booked never bothered to show up and that they are ignoring his calls. I drive him to the airport instead and 6 HOURS later they call and claim the driver broke down. (Doesn't explain why the office didn't pick up our calls)
