   ​Do not trust ACX Express with your travel plans. They are running a textbook bait-and-switch scam. I booked an airport transfer well in advance, only to receive a ransom call less than 48 hours before my flight. They claimed their own website charged the 'wrong price' and demanded I pay the driver an extra £80 cash on arrival, otherwise they would cancel my booking on the spot. ​To make matters worse, when I protested this extortion, the rude woman on the phone had the audacity to blame me for booking online via their own website instead of on the phone. This is a classic bait-and-switch operation: they hook you with a quote and then extort more money at the last minute. Unprofessional, unreliable, and predatory.

   Unreliable!! Booked a taxi for the station for 4:40am and told rescheduled to 4:30, which ended up with a no show. Added frustration of getting a text message from the firm at 4:52 stating ‘your taxi was successfully cancelled’ despite speaking to no one about a cancellation.

   Driver called to say that he had arrived, I told him I would be there in 3 minutes as my train was slightly delayed so he then asked if I could meet him at the taxi office. I asked him where the taxi office was and he hung up, a few minutes later I get a text message saying that my taxi had been 'successfully cancelled' as if I had made the request to cancel it. Taxi driver was also very rude on the phone. Wouldn't recommend using this taxi service.

   Nice chap but 15 minutes late on pickup because he needed to charge his car. Having booked a week ago, this was a little frustrating as it was an airport run. Luckily we'd planned in some contingency and traffic was fine.
