   Booked a taxi 2 days in advance to get me to the train station in time for an important meeting in town. Driver got lost on the way to pick up, berated me for being in the wrong place. Dispatch equally as robust in their defence and criticised my poor directions - as if the address, post code and photo of google maps were not sufficient. Ended up driving. You cannot rely on them.

   £45 each way from Knockholt to shoreham? £80 from Knockholt to Gatwick. No Consistency in pricing and the meter never seems to be on. Despatch does not give you a price over the phone either. Very surprised by this and have had to change my previous review from 5 stars to 1 star. A real shame as the drivers are lovely but think the people in the office make it up as they go along. Also a 2.5% surcharge for using a credit card. We aren’t in the 80’s anymore!

   I called to book a taxi at 10pm to pick us up at 11pm. Waited until 11:20, called 3 times and no answer. If you cannot provide a service do not take a booking. Do not recommend.

   Three taxis booked separately with Sevenoaks Taxis by three guests at a wedding last night and not one of those taxis showed up. Numerous calls made to their phone number and nobody answered, leaving guests stranded. We had even called earlier in the day to reconfirm the booking and had been told it was booked and that the taxi would be there. Thank god for Beeline Taxis who came to the rescue and provided the sort of service you expect from a local taxi firm!

   We pre-booked taxis to take our party to a wedding. When they failed to arrive the hotel reception kindly called them. Our booking had not been listed, despite it being confirmed by email! Eventually cars were sent but no apology offered. To make it worse the driver asked me to check on my phone for the quickest route to the church! Later I called to check whether the return pick up at midnight was on their records. The dispatcher gave me no confidence that it was listed and took down all of the details again. The only positive note was that the taxis arrived at midnight and the drivers were a credit, being professional and polite.

   A joke of a company - dispatcher was dismissive and all too happy to interupt us throughout the call(s). Taxi booked to meet us at the airport was nowhere to be seen even after a 20 minute wait in arrivals (and a slight delay on landing). No response to the several calls made to the many mobile numbers Sevenoaks Taxis tries to contact you through during the booking process. Gave up as we had other engagements, used the airport taxi service for a fare lower than that which was quoted by Sevenoaks. Later received a text demanding we pay the full fare alongside the claim that the driver waited an hour and a half - a blatant lie. Hugely unprofessional, avoid at all costs!
