Daylight robbery. Charged me £19 from sawbridgeworth to church Langley a 10-15 min car journey when I was only charged £10 from church Langley to sawbridgeworth.
Well, I hope I can counter some of the negative comments on here. We booked a regular car for 23:45hr pickup in sawbo. We booked a couple of days in advance, got instant SMS confirmation. Had to make a change ( I got the date wrong). No probs, controller read back my revised booking - spot on. On the night the driver was running a bit late but we were got SMS notification. No probs for us. Driver turned up as expected. Very pleasant ride home up the hill to h/heath. Driver earned 50% tip. I was a local cab driver years ago. Be kind to these drivers! (And controllers).
I was struggling to book a taxi with other companies to pickup from a wedding we were attending. Phoned this company, booked me in straight away, gave me a price, had text message confirmation once I'd booked but also had texts to say driver had arrived. Lovely guy, good taxi service. Even better than this, we managed to leave my phone in the taxi and the company and the driver could not have been more helpful to us and I got it back. Thank you so much again x
STS Taxis came to our rescue after getting a puncture in our car whilst we was on our way to a funeral in Sawbridgeworth. We had to abandon our car in a lay-by, and called STS to see if they could pick us up and take us to the church in Sawbridgeworth which was about 2 miles away. They were very helpful, efficient and arrived very quickly so we didn’t miss the start of the funeral service. Received a text confirmation, showing tracking details, and the registration and vehicle detail of the taxi. Massive thanks to Tim in his Silver Skoda who picked us up and get up to the service with 2 minutes to spare! We also booked them for our return trip park to our car, whilst we waited for the AA – the same efficient service as the 1st booking earlier in the day! I would not hesitate using them again.
Very reliable service. Driver was really friendly and also patient when we got a bit lost getting out of the venue when we were picked up lol. Highly recommend
