The care they provided my dog was second to none. And they were also incredibly caring, kind and patient with us. They did their very best to make fees affordable and genuinely seemed to care about us and our dog. Thank you so much to the oncology and surgery team.

Went to have a post mortem on my best feline friend Khaleesi who I was absolutely heartbroken to lose. They didn't make it easy. We were told a week, then another week, in the end it was 4 weeks. When I called the guy was fine but the woman made me absolutely irate - clearly shouldn't be working with people and I can only hope she treats our pets better than their humans. Every time I called she referred to my best friend of 9 years as 'it' - when did you drop 'it' off, 'it' isn't ready yet. Get a clue about speaking to people, especially people who are grieving! I hated having to call as I knew I was trying to hold it together and not scream at her as I needed my baby girl back so she could be cremated. But I kept having to call to chase as not once did they call me with an update. Completely insensitive at a really sensitive time.

Took our dog for an attack and I'm not sure what happened. They take your dog away from you and won't let you in. We then took our dog to our vet who administered injections like the anti-bacterial which was not provided here and should of been. So not sure what we actually paid for.

Staff were so reassuring throughout my pups emergency appointment. Seen, scanned, wounds treated & home within an hour! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return

The majority of the reviews related to this are actually for the Small Animal Hospital, not this the teaching establishment. I'm neither a student or employee of Glasgow uni. Instead I'm a neighbour who enjoys walking his dog in the grounds of the former Garscube estate, with its established woodland garden. A great place to be which feels like being in the country, whilst still in town.

My Golden Retriever had a large tumour on his eyelid. George Peplinski and his team operated and now my boy has fully recovered. Not only was my boy well looked after at the Vet School but the courtesy and understanding given to me during a very worrying time was phenomenal. We are so lucky to have a wonderful establishment like this on our doorstep. Never be afraid to take your animals to the Vet School they will receive 5 star treatment by very committed individuals.
