I bought a race prepared Alfa Romeo engine from a reputed builder in South Africa and then realized I had no knowledge of importing goods. I contacted AGS and explained I am a single person with absolutely no idea what to do. Mark asked me for details of who I bought it from, their address, whether I wanted sea or air shipping and delivery address in UK. I asked for estimate showing every cost and what final fee would be so as not to have any last minute add on. Within 5 days Mark sent me a fully detailed estimate and I asked him to proceed. The person I bought it from told me it had been picked up so I asked Mark if he had any details of the shipping company. This was my first and only question and within hours I received all the details I needed to track the vessel. Dates and times given me by Mark came and passed and mirrored details he had given me. The only other contact was when the crate was ready for customs check and was sent an invoice which was as original estimate. The engine is due for delivery in 2 days. Mark had no idea if I was a scam and apart from my home address he never asked for any other details like bank account. All done on trust from both parties. I will probably never buy large items abroad again but if I did then AGS would be who I would trust to import it for me. An absolute pleasure to deal with, as a first and one time customer I worried that I would be fleeced but turns out not a single worry from start to finish. A massive thank you to Mark and all at AGS. May you all have a healthy and prosperous life. Awesome service.

Truly horrific. Over 20,000 GBP down the drain, damaged goods. The staff laughed at us when we mentioned that the goods went missing. AGS is only looking for your money. Beware!!!!!!!! We found them extremely unreasonable, rude and unprofessional. We do not tend to write reviews for companies, however this experience just forced us to - one really must beware of relying on AGS global forwarding.
I found AGS global forwarding to be objectively incompetent. They damaged my goods as well as laughing to me about it when I raised the matter with them.
