Used Woodstock this week at short notice. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They had everything I needed and it was delivered promptly at a great price.
Quality wood at excellent prices. Delivered same day too, can't fault it. Don't ever need to go to B&Q ever again.....apart from if I need paint or some other non-wood related product. Needed timber for a 100 foot long fence, got everything I needed in one place. Can't argue with the prices. Feather edge boards nice and thick too, not like the paper thin rubbish from other stores.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced! I went to this place after the cutting machine broke down at Robbins wood. The staff there are rude and unnecessarily aggressive. They ignored me for a long time whilst they were cutting some wood. When one of them finally came he was rude and unnecessarily aggressive, asking me 'what did I want! He the referred me to his mate, who was 'busy' eating and playing on his phone. Anyway, by this time I'd decided to wait for machine to be repaired at Robbins wood. The customer service couldn't be more different.
I had a small order, compared to the items being delivered/collected when I turned up. The team were really professional and helped me just the same as their big customers, regardless, and made sure that I was happy with my order/service.
I couldn't make contact in 3 days through email. It lead confusion when I went to pick up my 9 length of 6x2. My order was not ready and they didn't really know what the order was. The pieces were not cut to length at all and many had checks and huge bends. I got the worst stock because it was obvious I am not a professional or tradesman. Not helpful at all and very unfriendly stuff. Not recommend it!
