In the world of logistics, or business in general, it is all too common to come across grumpy or unhelpful service these days. No one seems to care! So when someone like Liam shows up, it is a real breath of fresh air. Today we ran into a few issues while delivering an order to our distribution partner’s new warehouse. I had never been to the new location before, so was unable to offer much help with directions. The postcode was incorrect, communication was difficult, and we were at risk of missing the delivery window. But Liam took it all in his stride. He stayed calm, collected and proactive, using both his social and logistical skills to find the correct location quickly and efficiently. I could not be more impressed with his attitude, professionalism and capability. He spoke highly of his company and the people he works with, and he is a true credit to both. As an employer, it is rare to come across people who are genuinely invested in the company, its vision and the wider team, and who truly want to see it succeed. So when you meet someone like Liam, not only does he stand out from the crowd, but so does the company and the team behind him. Hats off to Liam and the whole team. Had a pallet of sandstones just delivered. I had been concerned what was going to happen due to access. Don, rang me an hour before he was arriving and then arrived at the time he told with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. He got my double gate open (which I had not been able to) and swiftly brought the pallet (of goodness knows how many hundreds of kilos) in with ease. Set it up nicely to the side out of our way and with a smile and a thank you he was on his way again. I do highly recommend. Good customer service is alive and well in this company.
Turned up on time. The driver hand-balled 50 heavy boards off because the pallet had collapsed. He did it with a smile on his face and was a pleasure to deal with. I take deliveries every day and this was definitely one of my best experiences. Well done ELB.
