Once a maszive peat cutting area. Then a landfill site. Then an open cast coal mine. Now a local nature reserve raised scottish mire. Home to Roe deer and other fauna. Great dog walks dog swimming ponds. Not the Petcy pond though. Just a nice walking area.

  2. Lairy Fairy ★★★★★

Peaceful place, well worth a visit if you like walking. The paths are decent enough for kids to bike, the main ones good enough to scooter on. It's used by dog walkers all the time, but they pick up responsibly.
