Just wanted to say thank you to the dog house because they have always provided the right service all throughout which to me is nothing less than exceptional. May not do bows or bandanas but the dog house truly deserves all 5 stars and more for their services. The atmosphere is peaceful with happy dogs which made me realise what an honour it is to go here as they are exactly what you'd want/look for in a service. So very big thank you for always taking care of my wee dog. She was a bit messier than usual as I had to put app off due to personal difficulties but as always they have done an amazing job and was really proud to see my wee old lady looking her best in tip top shape again so truly thanks again for all that youse do for us and for our dogs. Youse have such a good thing going. The credit is well and truly deserved to all of you that work here. Recommend
Apollo had his first haircut done by the dog house ek and it went amazingly. Apollo can now see and is so much happier to get rid of the excess fur . Trimmed his paws , face , ears and bum area and it looks great exactly what I asked for and they done a brilliant job .
The haircut looks good but not at all what I asked for. If you would like something specific I don’t recommend. Their completely done their own thing. My Yorkie had a very long hair, it reached the floor, I asked for the cut to be short on his body and long on legs, as for head I asked it to be long and just trimmed and shaped a little. I added 3 pictures of how my yorki looks like just now and two photos of what I actually wanted. Last photo is of my boy, taken over one year ago so his hair grown since then and it was even longer before his visit to The Dog House. Just to show that what I expected was possibly to do. EDIT Sorry The dog house but your link doesn’t work for me. Feel free to post pictures. You should let me know, when I explained what I want, that you think that’s not suitable in your opinion, you also had my phone number. When you go to hairdresser and they think the haircut you choose is not going to suits you they might suggest something else but they not just cut your hair however they think will be best in their opinion.
Horrible staff, use unnecessary force with the dogs.The dogs are petrified being left here and I’m not surprised! They also cage dry the dogs unsupervised with no temperature control which caused a border collie to over heat and nearly die. They still forced the dog to stand to complete its haircut. Absolutely disgusting. Dogs have even ran away from this place and they continued working saying it wasn’t their problem. Awful place, needs shut down!! *It won’t let me reply to you so I’ve just added to the first review* Nathan advised she was taken straight to the vets! Can you upload proof of the controls you have on your dryers because from the photo I’ve seen, the switch is broken and the plug socket has been burned. It’s very unprofessional to lie when people are trusting you with their animals. I’ve been in your shop and can only see the front where dogs get haircuts, the back isn’t visible and many of my friends had no idea you used cages to dry their dogs either. I don’t understand why you would put the dogs in cages to dry anyway, very lazy.
Had my dog groomed at the the dog house this morning . Lovely staff . My dog can be a bit of a pain when getting groomed but the staff handled him really well and gave him a lovely groom . He even came home and ate all his lunch usually takes him a whilst after a groom so I know he was handled nicely. Thank you everyone at the dog house for your professional service . booking him in for his xmas cut right now
Love this place. Staff are amazing, my dogs love it and are always cared for very well. The staff took the time to make my dogs comfortable and that was so important to me. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now
All our dogs have been treated so well here, and we've never been disappointed with the service. Best groomer around :) Amy Jane and Kelly treated our boys like their own. They took the time to make sure they were happy and comfortable throughout the process and I have complete confidence in the team to always look after our dogs. We will never go anywhere else and highly recommend the team at The Dog House to all our dog loving friends
