Looked on website to go and retrieve an important parcel, open 4-7pm, when I arrived the place is closed ! Typical royal mail
Due a delivery so I went on the link and told them where to leave the package sent me a confirmation email but didn’t leave the package left me a card to a post office that is closed really good as it supposed to be next day delivery . Telephone number is incorrect on the website also opening times are incorrect as I went there and it was closed so I looked at the times outside went back when it was supposed to be open and it was still closed.
Very unhelpful staff. Came to collect a parcel at 11am, the door was open and someone came to the booth, but rather than hand over a parcel that would take two seconds, he told me they were closed as they only open two hours a day now. My parcel was on the shelf behind him, and he still refused to hand it to me. Another occasion when I went to collect my parcel the same person had come to the window and said "Im watching a webinar, come back later". Lazy and unhelpful.
Limited opening hours due to pandemic but quite convenient for me on my morning route. Always quiet and almost no waiting time here. Parking is available and the staffs are nice and friendly. They cannot sell you stamps here so you have to buy stamps and print out at home, or if you have QR code (prepaid return), they can scan and print out the stamp. Best to come with a printed list of parcels if you want proof of posting or they’ll have to write everything by hand as they cannot print out receipt either.
Called to collect a present that i didn't want my wife to know about until today (our wedding anniversary). Had some trouble finding the office. At that time they were closed for customer visits but the kind lady went to find my parcel for me.
The place was very difficult to find. Ended up going back on myself as there are no signposts to tell you your going the right way and maps doesn't know where to send you. I didn't have a delivery note, only an email as no note was delivered. This made the whole experience a complete faff. The man at reception checked twice and told me my parcel wasn't there and was "probably out for delivery". I asked him if it 100% wasn't here, he was incredibly rude, eventually looked once more and magically found it! Then he was reluctant to hand it over as my address on my ID was different to the delivery address (I have just moved!), and I didn't have the delivery note that they never delivered, which I made clear when I first went in! Unorganized and disappointing. Shouldn't be that hard to collect a parcel!
