Just getting beyond a bit of a joke as a delivery company I've had drivers return to my property and swear at me for complaining about their behaviour Today's one shows some sense of self awareness but still fell short: Exited his vehicle to "attempt" delivery whilst taking a photo of my front door Didn't knock, didn't do the doorbell, no attempt to draw attention to himself being outside the property Must've missed all the signs saying "CCTV in operation" because I have a driver in 4K turning up, taking a photo of my door and leaving Spoke to customer service to raise a formal complaint and got told, I kid you not, "we'll make a note for him to knock or try the doorbell next time" My good sir, how else did he expect to make the delivery? Was his arrival to be beamed into my mind through telekinesis? Was I to keep an eye out for the torches being lit in case Gondor called for aid? What kind of response is "we'll tell him to knock next time" when your entire job is get to a parcel from A -> B?

DPD UK's delivery service is shockingly unreliable, and its "customer service" is an exercise in frustration. I paid extra for DPD to deliver letterbox flowers from Bloom & Wild. They were supposed to be delivered on Friday. I was home all day, so I was disappointed when I saw a "sorry we missed you" message on the DPD app. The same thing happened the following Monday. I have a security camera on my front door, so I know the driver did not attempt a delivery on either day. I'm sure the flowers are dead. I have filed a complaint with Bloom & Wild and tried to do the same with DPD, but they make it nearly impossible. This isn't the first time this has happened, so it seems the driver has a pattern of not delivering parcels. It is essentially a breach of contract for DPD to take money from customers and then fail to deliver. I plan to pursue this matter further.

I was meant to receive my parcel yesterday on 1st November 2025, the delivery driver went to a wrong address and was given a wrong code for my parcel and then left without delivering my parcel to my address. I had waited for my parcel for a whole month. But the delivery driver didnβt bother looking for the correct address and left without delivering. One of my family members took a day off to receive the parcel, their whole day was wasted and loss of money. Very unhappy with the incompetence of DPD delivery driver who canβt simply see a door number correctly and left without delivering the parcel. This has happened few times as the delivery drivers are always rushing like they are going to miss a flight or something. This is incredibly frustrating and Iβm pissed off. Will try avoid using DPD at all costs if I can.

I paid extra for next-day delivery on a Β£2,000 camera, but the DPD driver marked the delivery as βunable to deliverβ and uploaded a photo of a completely different property. I have CCTV footage showing that no one from DPD came to my house at any time that day. When I called customer service, I spoke to an agent named Pawan, but no useful information was provided β not even which depot my parcel is at. The parcel appears to have gone missing, and Iβve been left with no updates or accountability. This isnβt an isolated issue. Two years ago, a similar incident happened with a laptop delivery: the driver took a photo of another house and marked it as delivered even though I was home and my address is clearly visible. For a courier handling high-value items, this repeated lack of accuracy, communication, and responsibility is completely unacceptable. I trusted DPD because of their reputation for reliability, but this experience has shown otherwise. I strongly urge DPD to improve their verification process and take customer complaints seriously β paying extra for premium delivery should not result in stress, missing parcels, and no answers.

Absolutely shocking and rubbish service. I paid for an item with the value Β£379 and the driver 'Deepak' decided to take a picture of another block of flats main door and say that he attempted to deliver the parcel. When I called into the call centre the first agent told me that they will attempt to deliver it again but luckily I checked the text message and called in again and was told that once they deliver the package to a random pickup point they will not redeliver the package and will return it to the sender within 7 days. The drivers are dishonest and snap pictures of random locations and the call centre gives conflicting information and requires at least 3 phone calls and you will need to raise a case number and get the sender involved. Avoid like the plague. 0 stars well deserved.
