Always a pleasure to shop in Waitrose (Chipping Sodbury) nice wide aisles, well stocked shelves and very attentive and friendly staff. The young chap on the fresh fish counter went above and beyond on my most recent visit. Highly recommended. A shame you are quite so expensive compared to others.
As always, a very relaxed and happy grocery experience! This particular store employs so many wonderfully pleasant and helpful professionals and it's always a delightful breath of fresh air. Produce is excellent, the store is spotlessly clean, the range is super (especially for a store on a comparably smaller scale). The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, approachable. There's nothing I can fault. Even the car parkinging spaces are wide and plentiful.
This Waitrose in Yate is an absolute gem. The first thing you notice is the fantastic location and the impressive, tidy appearance of the store. Inside, it’s well-laid-out and always immaculate. What truly elevates the experience is the welcoming cafe, it's the perfect spot to take a break and recharge. Plus, the generously-sized car park takes all the stress out of finding a space. It’s clear that a lot of care is put into maintaining this store, and it shows in every detail. Definitely my go-to for a great shopping trip when I’m around the area.
Easy, plenty of room in aisles, fab variety of goods. Coffee shop staff friendly and know what they are doing. Overall clean ,tidy and very helpful and friendly throughout store.
I ordered from Waitrose via Uber Eats and paid nearly £20 for a pack of Corona beer — only to receive a box that looked like it had been stored in a damp or possibly flooded area. The outer packaging was stained, soggy, and clearly water-damaged. Even worse, every bottle had rust around the caps. This is not only disappointing but completely unacceptable, especially for a premium retailer like Waitrose. You expect a minimum standard of care — particularly for items like alcohol — and this fell far short. If this is the condition products are being stored or picked in, it raises serious questions about hygiene, quality control, and customer respect. I won’t be ordering again unless there’s some reassurance that this kind of thing won’t happen again.

Nice store, well laid out. Good variety but some items can be limited choice. Watch the sell by dates!! Till service often slow and there's a reluctance to open more tills.
I love having a local Waitrose in Chipping Sodbury. The car park is big and I can always find a car parking space. The layout of the store is brilliant and it is really easy to find your way around the store. I think the range of food / products they sell is great. Some of the products I would say are more expensive than other supermarkets but the quality of the fresh produce is always good. I would say you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t say everything in the store is more expensive than other supermarkets but I would say the quality is probably better. The Waitrose Cafe again is lovely, the coffee is delicious, reasonably priced and of a high quality and they have a range of different items you can buy off of the menu as well as snacks. There is plenty of seating in the cafe and it is clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming and will help you find anything that you may need within the store. There are quite a few tills so you don’t really have to queue for long to buy your shopping. I think it’s brilliant that you can shop online with John Lewis and collect your order from the Waitrose in Chipping Sodbury - that’s super handy. Overall I do really like this store, I don’t shop here all the time because I do prefer to shop elsewhere just due to the price of certain things however it would stop me from shopping there or going to the cafe.
