Excellent staff and customer service really friendly... love the new products especially the tasty milkshakes!
It’s gone drastically downhill under new ownership. Used to be almost as good and affordable as the super market, consistently well stocked & with regular deals and discounts. Now? It’s as if these new owners are actively trying to fleece the community. It’s July, yet in the front of their store they have 6 Easter eggs for sale in excess of their RRP! (Seriously - £7 for a medium Easter egg 4 months after Easter?! That’s borderline comical it’s so outrageous.) There never seem to be any discounts or deals these days, and their fresh range is consistently & appallingly low on stock. It’s such a shame; the previous owners had been there for more than a decade and were a beloved part of the community. They got a lot of us through lockdown. Now I actively go out of my way the Morrisons daily in the neighbouring village, an extra ten minutes walking time each way. That’s how much Budgens (formerly Jeeves) has fallen now. Don’t shop here.

Great corner shop, and cash machine free to use. Range of items, some quite reasonably priced for a corner shop too. Staff always friendly.
