I was working for Morgan Stanley in Glasgow as a temp, which I had a really great time and met many great people. Initially, my temp position was for 6 months, which they ended my contract after 3 months. I knew it was a temp position and understood it won't last forever, I didn't mind them ending my contract after 3 months. But the way that the HR dealt with the termination left me in tears. I was given a email to come downstairs for a assignment progress update, which I agreed to come. Then I was put in a small room and told this will be my last day and for security reasons, I can't go back up to collect my personal belongings or say goodbye to my team. I have never done anything wrong, always said positive things about everyone, never declined to take on more work and always stayed late for work. I never received the reason for termination and didn't even get a notice to tell me that my contract is going to end. Most colleagues in Morgan Stanley have leaving nights, give treats to your colleagues, receive a farewell card. I felt really bad the way I was told to leave the building and didn't get to say farewell to my colleages
