REALLY NOT GOOD FOLKS!! Shopped there from the very opening of the store 26 years..This handy well loved store is CLOSING towards end of February. So much for your LO CARBON trip to the shops, we get rammed down our throats daily, by the media. Be prepared to go further afield and queue for longer in longwell green or kingswood. Nothing ever quite gets going or sustains in Hanham apart from a few choice shops.A small shopping complex on the old Kleeneasy site with sit out cafe areas would be uplifting for the area. Hopefully TESCO will take on the lidls site. UPDATE:-So cycled to kingswood today. It was rammed with customers and didn't have two items that I wanted, in stock. Photo attached is just one aisle...self service was about 20 deep

Today I was literally hassled by the security guy aggressively rushing to stop my shopping because it was 07:50 pm 10 minutes before closing time. He was rude and inconsiderate. Not a way to treat customers. Badly managed store. Long well green one much better

Massive improvement at this store. Fire exits are no longer blocked and the staff are really nice, approachable, helpful and polite. Shame they now close at 8pm but if this is to keep the store financially viable to remain open then I'm happy. Well done to all involved to train the staff correctly and improve the store especially when it comes to H&S for both customers and staff.

Good to see this branch has less empty shelves than others.

Nice clean store, plenty of parking, good range of food and specials available. Prices very competitive. Quick check out when I was there.

Love this store. It's small, but has its own bread ovens. I can find everything I need or an alternative of. I make everything from scratch, so all the basics are there in store. I like how some of the items are seasonal and I love the themed country weeks. I always try something new. Never had an issue parking here, plenty of spaces round the back of the store. It's always clean and I usually see a staff member neatening the shelves every time I go in. So good attention to detail. Baskets do pile up at times by the tills, but I really don't mind moving these myself to help out. I do wonder why others who are waiting in a queue don't just help out their local store :) - This store has now had a recent revamp which includes floor to ceiling fridges, freezers and new shelving. I am glad this smaller Store is not closing, considering there is a larger one down the road. I shop between the both, but since the revamp, now favor the smaller store due to less footfall when I visit.

Yes I shop here for the prices and good quality products, but the friendly professional service just makes a world of difference. The team should be proud of themselves! Even the young chap who is not a talker but has a friendly manner, it’s okay mate, you make me smile.
