   Was due to have my parcel delivered today, which contained my medication which is a controlled drug. 40m into my "hour slot" delivery I had a message stating "whoops" looks like we missed you! The driver will be back tomorrow! I then had a photo uploaded of his "missed delivery card" which clearly shows my car parked on my drive. He didn't even bother getting out of his van! Didn't knock! Spent all day chasing this issue with the "healthcare" department from dpd. Who frankly couldn't give 2 hoots the fact that I desperately needed that medication as I am completely out! Got told the driver will come back and delivery later today! Got this told every single time I called (about 5 times) then at 6pm this evening, I got told it had gone back to the depot! And a delivery attempt will be made tomorrow! I explained how much I needed that medication today! As I have no medication left! And got told to contact 111! Beside the fact that my medication is a controlled drug! Which can't just be picked up anywhere! It needs to be signed off by my Dr! So this isn't even a option! So because of a delivery driver couldn't be bothered to get out his van and delivery my parcel! I'm the one who is going without! Parcels that contain medication should be a top priority! The driver is aware of this as he can't delivery this without a code that is given to me by the Dr!

   Driver has no idea it would seem of what he is doing,states my parcel has been left with a neighbour and provided a photo of the parcel being accepted by a person,but it's not a neighbour in my street,they must has delivered it to another street,pathetic!!

   COMPLAINT I have explained multiple times that the gate at the front of my block of flats is unlocked (is in the picture they take each time) - despite being told this note has been added to my account by DPD customer service on multiple occasions, DPD drivers from this depot do not acknowledge this fact at all. On several occasions now DPD unable to open this gate, despite Royal Mail, DHL, Evri and Amazon all having no issues. I am seriously now concerned with ordering any items from companies if they use DPD for deliveries, their drivers appear incapable of pressing a handle (if an attempt was even made). In addition to this latest experience, customer service now feels that this item is lost. So not only has the driver not attempted to deliver my item whilst I was home, the item is lost - what kind of service is this?

   Drivers have a lack of ability to find address he sent a picture of a different house. Maybe they should put sat nav in thier vans Or employ people who are capable of doing Thier job Useless company from head office down to the drivers

   I paid for a delivery before 12 today and have been waiting for the driver by the door. They said they missed me, which is a blatant lie. Nobody was here, nobody knocked on the door. Now they want me to waste another day waiting for a driver who might not deliver. I only got an apology, nothing else. Update: Just snapped the DPD driver driving through Belvedere, which is about 5 minutes from where I live.

   This is the worst delivery company. My package has been held at the Dartford depot for 17 days, but they are unable to deliver it. If you can, choose another delivery company.
