Used Argyle Diesel for a no of years with various Mercedes vito diesel vans. Honestly what a service , no messing around with Gordan. Great at trouble shooting and above all no lies with them . Genuinely if you have any type of issues with a diesel don’t waste your time with other garages! Respect to having such an experienced engineer in Scotland

A great experience with these guys. They took on my 25 year old Saab which nobody else wanted to touch, quickly diagnosed the issue and my car was ready the next day. Really good customer service to boot as well. Will definitely be using in the future.

I’m truly impressed! After two other mechanics misdiagnosed a customer of mine's car issue as misfueling, Argyle Diesels had it running perfectly the very next afternoon. It actually ended up an Injector fault. Jasmine at reception deserves a special mention—she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this garage. Excellent service once again. I appreciate how busy they are, but still managed to check, diagnose and repair Injectors for an Excavator in just over 3 days, which meant minimal down time for our Machine. Brilliant.
Best about for diesels. My car had a cold start issue where it would cut out. Also had no power. They sorted both issues by spending time diagnosing the actual problem / cause. Gordon has great in depth knowledge and experience which is what you want. The car now has a working turbo and feels like a different car now it has it’s power back. It was my work car and they were busy but still went out their way to get it back on the road for me as quick as possible which I really appreciate. Thanks
They are very busy. First available appointment was about 3 weeks later. I took the car in as it had started giving out some smoke every now and again. They carried out a comprehensive diagnostics on the car. Diagnostics is £95 +VAT (£114).
Fantastic service from Argyle Deisel. My van had issues when other garages couldn't find the faults. They found the faults very quickly and I got my van back within a few days. Labour costs was a bit pricey but overall you don't mind paying a little extra if the work is satisfactory
