   Take care with this company. The expensive estimate was given on the basis of poor photographs taken on a frosty day so the dents & scuffs were not as extensive as they appeared. This was explained but still the full price was requested. Despite a day’s work being arranged, the car was not returned for nearly 29 hours with no explanatory phone call. When I inspected the work, it was not perfect - I will need to buy paint and touch up inside the door.

   Had ChipsAway recommended by my dad, and they also gave me the cheapest quote for the work I needed done. Had some scratches on 3 corners of my VW Polo, which has the metallic “blue silk” paint. Very happy with the work done. Car looks perfect, as if the scratches were never there; and they were pretty gnarly on one corner. Recommend and will use again.

   Would definitely not even use these for any service. The owner of the business is very rude. Customer service absolutely Zero. Plenty of other places for competition so take your money elsewhere

   Couldn’t recommend more. Had a crack in my front bumper, had it priced at 6 garages in Edinburgh, 4 in Glasgow. Chips Away managed to fix the crack AND repair scuffs on both front alloys for the same price as these other garages. Other garages said they were full for 3 weeks, had it done here within a couple days. Job carried out perfectly and car looks good as new.

   What a fantastic job Chris Gibb of Chips Away did on my Mini Cooper bumper, and what a nice guy he was. He came out to East Kilbride after I messaged the mobile service. I'm still blown away by the job he did. It looked like a very tricky and difficult repair but you wouldn't even know there had been any damage. Well done, Chris. You're a credit to Chips Away, and you're a brilliant tradesman. 10 out 10 for Chris.
