    Unfortunately not punctual. I had booked a signature manicure for 12:15 today but was asked to wait 20 minutes+ upon arrival, with no prior notice or explanation. It’s a clear double standard — had I arrived 20 minutes late, I would have been charged in full or refused service. Yet when the delay is on their side, clients are expected to wait without apology or compensation. This disregard for the client’s time shows a lack of professionalism and respect. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be provided with reasonable care and skill, and appointment times form part of the agreed service. Applying one-sided terms where the business isn’t held to the same standard as the customer is not only unfair but also challengeable under consumer protection law.

    The shop was clean, and the mani/pedi was a good quality. However, I would expect some sort of luxury service to explain the high cost relative to other salons (e.g. at least being offered a complimentary drink). It all seems very focussed on money-making. I felt pressured to buy the Townhouse products and to leave a tip too. All in all, I won't be returning, as I don't see why I would pay so much more, and I found aspects of the experience uncomfortable.

    Extremely bad service. The polish was put uneven and this is how my nails look after 1 week. My nail appointment needed to last 45 minutes, instead lasted 20. Everything was super rushed and no care in putting homogeneous nail polish. The layering is also uneven.

    I’ve been going to townhouse for a few months because they do take care of your nails (ie cuticles, not using electric nail file), it’s clean and a nice vibe. However the service is a bit hit and miss for the price that townhouse charge compared to other nail salons. You can see it’s starting to become more about profit rather than service. My first appointment here was excellent really great care given to my nails and so worth the price but since then it’s gone downhill. The majority of technicians are kind and good at what they do but because of the overbookings you can end up having a rushed service and I’ve ended up with cut skin under my nails from filing. I booked for a mani - pedi today and had to wait 30 minutes between each service while new customers were served - not something you’d expect from a ‘premium’ salon and with no offer of a complimentary drink during the wait to apologise (it’s 30 degrees today). The actual pedicure was very basic and anything else (repairs, callus removal) is an extra fee on top of the £50+ you already pay. I don’t think this is the fault of the technicians but the overbooking on the systems which means they rush your appointment or you have to wait. End result is a mediocre finish, decent nail care and an expensive bill. Overall I think I’ll go somewhere else for my nails now until townhouse can improve their service / reduce overbookings if I’m going to paying £100+ for gel nails and toes.

    Maria was amazing! She was very gentle for my sensitive nails. Her attention to detail is meticulous. She didn’t rush the manicure and made it a very relaxing experience with a soothing massage in the end. She made me very comfortable trying different colors and combinations. I’m very happy with the result.

    I had Alina who was amazing. Paid a lot of attention to filing my nails and patient in choosing the right nail colours. She ended up choosing a very unique combination of two colours. Very impressed and won’t look to go anywhere else to get my nails done

    The best nail salon in town! All branches are consistently great: beautifully decorated, cosy and sparkling clean. I had the best experience at Harrods with Erdenetuya and Kamila at Notting Hill/Kensington. Both are exceptional nail technicians that I highly recommend. Their customer service is also great. Once I had a not so great experience with one of their less experienced manicurists they have been very helpful and accommodating in making it right.
