   First visit to use hydro pool for the baby session. Place was lovely and clean (pool and changing area). We had the pool to ourselves. Pool was nice and warm, and it had a disco ball and turtles projected onto the wall. Staff were friendly :) would rec

   Great big swimming pool showers were spot on with the temperature also they stay on longer. Overall the leisure centre is great. Only issue was the pool was really cold.

   Facility's are clean and the sauna and steam room are well kept but there was only a quarter of the pool open due to swimming lessons and no one told me while getting a day pass so I felt a ripped off having to share 2 lanes with 15 other people at once

   The facilities here are new and well-equipped, but the management of the sauna is extremely poor. We've repeatedly raised concerns about water being spilled on the sauna floor, yet nothing as simple as a reminder sign has been put up. Instead of addressing real issues, the manager seems more focused on minor things—like frowning over the door being opened a few minutes early—while rarely leaving the office. This kind of attitude gives the impression that stepping out and engaging with customers is beneath him. With leadership like this, it feels like the staff are left to deal with problems on their own, and honestly, if the centre wasn’t newly built, it would already be declining under this type of management. Even some of his own colleagues don’t seem too fond of his approach, often saying he’s obsessed with keeping the sauna as ‘minimal’ as possible—even if it means ignoring basic maintenance or conditions that could harm people’s lungs and health.

   Very much looking forward to the opening of the new centre. The Allander is the true lynchpin of leisure in Milngavie - it is truly essential to create the community and provide genuine fun in a place riddled with monotonous cafes and smelly pensioners. Please continue to invest, use and enjoy this wonderful asset. I only hope the new centre will have all the amenities and offerings of the current building - with a touch more cleanliness.

   I've been going here with my family for the last few years and we love it, the existing facility is closing! But a new facility has just been built. We're looking forward to visiting it, can't recommend the Allander enough.
