i’m going to be so honest this is the most toxic and worst covering i’ve ever gone to, i go here a lot and everytime this one guy comes on he shouts at everyone for doing ANYTHING like you pay to come learn and if you do try to be just tells you off now my little sister is too scared to do anything. but when he sees other people doing it he doesn’t care then sees another person doing the same thing he shouts at them honestly pathetic. once i saw these girls sliding on the ice when no one was on yet then this guy with glasses comes and shouts at them then these other girls started doing it in a full rink and it was okay?

Came here expecting a fun time on the ice, but it ended up being more annoying than anything. They advertise all these items you can use like skating aids and other equipment but when we got there, we were told we couldn’t use them. No real explanation, just “they’re not available” or “only certain people can use them.” What’s the point of offering them if you’re not actually going to let people use them? Staff didn’t seem to care much and weren’t helpful when we asked why. It just felt really unorganized and kind of misleading. Definitely not worth the time or money. Won’t be coming back.

We discovered the EK Ice Rink on a quiet Saturday night, the next day skaters were practising. I would have loved to see people playing a game of curling.

Kids absolutely loved it, great size rink. Not impressed with the staff, 2 girls handing out the skates stopped at a really busy time to exchange Christmas gifts, while the queue got longer, then 1 never came back, and there were 2 lines as 2 hatches were open when we went up and after 5mins or so had to ask if they were serving in our line and was told no, so only 1 serving and we had to join the other queue, not very happy as it was huge and we were at the front of 1 of the queues that got ignored and the server left, and it's set sessions and we were at the 1530hrs one, so makes it even worse and the last session finished at 1500hrs. Was served by a really helpful and nice man at the tills, who seemed to be doing everything himself as the others were just standing about, the 3 stars was due to him.

Booked try curling for my husband, son, friends and family. Jim Morrison was our coach for the 2 hour session. Great instruction...we all were amazed at the progress we made having never tried curling before! Start with basic do's and don'ts, then warm up and it was then next on to the ice. No expensive outlay as stones, sliders etc all provided. All you will need is warm , loose clothing, gloves if preferred and clean soled trainers. We had a great night and no doubt will be back in the future as its given us all a taste for it. We loved it. Thanks Jim Morrison! Give it a try...you'll amaze yourself! Fantastic!

Attended family skating season and all was pretty good. It had staff on the ice to assist and keep all well. The staff fairly friendly. There are lockers, toilets and 4 vending machines (drinks and snacks). There are 5 curling Lanes. Skate hire and session quite pricey. Also had to wait 8 mins to get shoes back as they was not enough staff. There was no queue the shoe guy jumped off to clean the ice for the next session.
