Similar to other experiences, we found a bed that we liked online but wanted assurances that it would arrive before Christmas. We called to check and were told it was in stock. Placed the order, only to receive no confirmation email or details about the dispatch. We called a week later to find out that it wasn't in stock at all, but that it would be on a shipment week commencing 15the December. Again, after no communication from the store, we called again, and were told that the shipment had arrived over a week ago but our item was not on it, despite being told that the manifest had been checked and it would be coming in, therefore they were not expecting the bed until mid January. We have now cancelled our order, and will just be praying that we don't have the same issues getting a refund that others seem to have had.

Waited 6 months for the wrong item to be delivered then my wife was insulted, abused and threatened over the phone by an aggressive delivery driver after he had to wait 5 minutes as she was on a work call. Fortunately/unfortunately, she wouldn't send me his number. I'd avoid like the plague, unless you like frustration and disappointment, followed by aggression and confrontation.

Sadly wish I had read the reviews before placing an order. This appears to be a fraudulent operation as others have pointed out. They have taken Β£1500 for an item of furniture that never showed up. After weeks on contacting them they have finally replied and said the item is discontinued and I would be refunded. Have been chasing for the refund since last month but nothing. Now having to raise as fraud and have reported the company. Please do NOT order from this company even if it says the item is in stock - as it wonβt be - and youβll never get your money back.

I would be careful of this company and what they can actually offer. I ordered a sofa for Β£4,609.00 on April 14th. I should be getting delivery of this in the coming weeks, and they have told me the manufacturer no longer make it. I don't know how that order could have possibly been place if that was the case. I have missed out on the sales and now we do not have a sofa. This is the third order with Tulip that went wrong. Incredibly frustrating.

Beware of this company which is evidently a small, poorly run outfit. I purchased a bunk bed which I initially needed to split into 2 x single beds. I called to check this was possible and the gentleman who answered the telephone (the same person on numerous occasions) , rudely replied 'obviously from the photo'. I then asked him to check if I needed to purchase extra parts so the beds would look symmetrical and to email me if this was the case. I didn't hear from them and assumed this therefore would be fine. I was called on a Saturday lunchtime to tell me my beds were arriving that same evening - they turned up at 20:45. On arrival it was apparent the beds were not meant to be split and would look extremely asymmetric. I was then told I would be charged Β£100 to return the beds. We have compromised on paying half this as I just wanted to get on with the refund and purchase some new beds, but I will be steering clear in the future.
