For a public course this place is brilliant. If the sun is out play can be a bit slow as you will encounter a lot of high handicap groups. Course is in a great condition.

Played once during summer and the course was really good. Price is very reasonable and the greenkeepers keep it in quality condition. Will defo be back

A reasonable long course, but very forgiving wide fairways ideal for all players, but ideal for high handicappers. The fairways and greens are in brilliant condition. Thank to North Lanarkshire Council for their continued support for the Course

Great course, suitable for all golfers. There is fantastic scenery to enjoy while you play your round, and on an evening round, you can sometimes catch a glimpse of owls hunting and deer often join you on the fairways

First time playing the course. Quite hilly and with the heights comes wind. Views are amazing and front 9 were good. On the back 9 there are a few of the fairways that are rutted making it awkward with the trolley. No ball cleaners and no air compressor to you shoes or trolley. Will defo be back.

If you consider this isn't a private course, its unbelievable how good the course is. Great course to play, play mostly every shot you have. Much better than most private courses nearby. Only downside maybe is the guys in hawaian shirts and joggies jumping on without paying and not taking care of the course as they go round, but thats not the courses fault. Not sure why anyone would pay more than double for a membership in a private corse near by. Plus Carol the starter is brand new and young Nikki makes a great salad roll with your pint at the end. Simple no frills golf. Canni beat it

Course is on Great Nick enjoyed Our Round In Glorious weather £14 per Round well worth the money Plus they Hire Buggies aswell

  3. William Scanlon ★★★★☆

A great course, designed by a renowned course designer. Drainage needs work to cope better with wet weather but up there with better nearby courses during dry conditions. For a municipal course it's a really nice course.
