   A lovely little spot by Strathclyde Loch, perfect for a quick escape. The soft sand is great for kids, and the shallow water is safe for paddling. Ideal for picnics and sunny days, though it can get crowded. Simple but enjoyable!

   I have fond memories of bringing my mum here just to relax and enjoy watching the variety of birds. We would get a bite and tea from the burger van or enjoy some ice cream. I still come here myself and just chill in the car listening to relaxed music, gazing over the loch or sit amongst the birds. Sometimes there is just a little magic around here.

   This place is gorgeous, with plenty of birds, geese, and swans to observe. It's not as sandy as i expected based on other reviews and pictures, but non the less beautiful. Would be amazing to visit in warm weather!

   We had a lovely BBQ dayout on a warm day. There is plenty of open space for large outdoor parties, and activities for all ages, M&Ds is next door, boating, cycling and kid's play area. Nice walks around the loch. Pls dont use disposable bbqs on the grass, dispose off ash carefully and leave the area clean for other users.

   If you fed up with roller-coaster rides in local M&D theme park , you could always go for a walk around Strathclyde Loch. Its always teaming with wildlife especially wild birds ,out there. If you will get to rowing club , you could hire a kayak out there and try water fun yourself. Area is huge and will take you over one hour to go around whole loch. Dog lovers will love this place definitely.
