   Great little community park. Fairly quiet. Ideal for dog walkers with large green spaces. Great enclosed play park for young kids and there's also a war memorial for those who enjoy historical monuments. There's also an outdoor (gated) gym that has bodyweight machines that is free to use. All areas of the park are usually clean.

   I'm shocked that I've lived in Hamilton for over 10 years and just discovered Bothwell Road Park. It's a peaceful, beautiful spot for a walk or just to sit and relax.

   The car park is very small but there is off street parking and areas around the park. The play park is really good and has zip slides,swings, climbing frames,etc. It also split into separate zones for your child's age group. The sensory garden is really well done and has lots of different things that can be used from mirrors,hand drums,chimes etc. The fitness area was really busy with kids and adults and has 5 different pieces of equipment to use. There isn't a lot of picnic tables but there is plenty of grass to put blankets down and have a picnic or play foot,tennis just a shame it hasn't been cut. The nearest place to get something to eat is the Morrison supermarket or McDonald's/Sainsbury's in the retail park. There is no toilets at the park.

   I love this park in the daytime for walking my dogs. It's spacious, the trees & shrubs make for a mindful, peaceful walk. The council could do a better job of taking care of the pathways & stay on top of cutting the grass.

   A pleasant park in Bothwell with lots of trees and woodlands. It’s also the location of the Hamilton Cenotaph and Victorian ironworks canopy that used to be a bandstand.
