This used to be a desolate and barren grassland when I was young. It's great to see it turn into a proper nature reserve. Really stunning. Well done to those responsible for making it all happen and keeping it tidy.
My friend and I have been clearing the woods from dead wood and rubbish left by others n burn it all on our brick surround safety fire as we clear 2metres around it, fox came right up to me... I smiled
Nice wee bit of green space close to lots of different housing. Accessible for many. A main path with street lights connecting a couple of the areas, nice to see! A short wee walk.
Nice little community park with views over Glasgow. Not quite Cathkin Braes further up the hill but doesn't need to be. Good connection between the surrounding areas.
Lovely walk , big playing field for dogs to run about, can get rather muddy when raining..Lovely wee pond too..Well kept ..
Some nice easy walking on well maintained paths. Great views across Glasgow and north to the campsie hills when you get to the top, you can even see ben lomond on a good day.
