I recently completed a Zero to Hero course where I arrived a total beginner worried I’d never be able to stand. Was standing within half an hour and gained confidence across the weeks of the course. I totally recommend them to anyone looking to start Paddleboarding - the course covers all the basics including safety, kit, how to read weather and water conditions and how to self rescue.

A magical short trip to Shetland where we discovered rarely explored coastlines and beaches. We all had an amazing time. Top class guide’s Alasdair Findlay and Daniel Walsh, and very knowledgable local wildlife and photography expert Nick McCafferty, who also provided safety back up on the water in his powered rigid inflatable boat (RIB). All equipment was provided and was top quality. A trip long to be remembered - it brought some of our group to tears, such was the majesty and mystique of Shetland and the emotions it conjured up.

Just back from an absolutely amazing few days on Shetland with Glasgow Paddleboarders! Massive shout out to Nick from SouthSpear Media for the boat support, drone footage and fresh scallops, to Ally for organising everything and for Daniel for his patient and supportive guiding. It was a well organised, amazing trip. Can’t wait to go back.

Four unforgettable days paddling Northern Ireland’s stunning North Coast. Rugged cliffs, pristine beaches, the Giant’s Causeway and even SUP surf at Portrush. Windy conditions pushed us, but activities were chosen daily based on the forecast. With Ally's expert guidance, everyone learned new skills. The downwinder exploring the caves and arches from Whiterocks to Portballintrae was a highlight and challenged me outside my comfort zone. We explored on foot when the conditions were too tricky, stayed in practical Portush accommodation, ate well and tested out new Shark boards (want one now). Best of all? Ally, Rob, Stuart and a brilliant group who brought yoga, cold dips, great chats and big smiles. Worst bit? It’s over. Scotland with Glasgow Paddleboarders next? Absolutely.

booked a trip for the glasgow uni weightlifting club social, was speaking with Ally who was very helpful and adaptable to what we were looking for. the trip was a great way to change things up and have a wee nature break in peak assignment and exam season. the guides were very professional and friendly and were able to help everyone in the group of all abilities. 10/10 would recommend.

Fab company! We rented 3 boards from them and had an absolute blast. Ally showed us how to use them and we were good to go. It’s so handy too- just along the road from us. The kit bag comes with absolutely everything you need and Ally was just an email or txt away if you needed anything. Such a reasonable price too for the length of time you get the boards. Boards were good quality and you felt so safe on them on the water. We went to the White Loch near Newton Mearns and then to the Canal at Auchinstarry. We all want to get our own Paddle Boards now after trying them out! Thank you so much to Ally and the Glasgow Paddleboarders Co! We hope to be back for lessons or rentals again soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful experience learning to paddle with Ally and his instructors. Very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. The social group is a great way to meet like minded people and get out on different bodies of water

A group of friends and I went out with Glasgow Paddleboarders for an adventure tour on Loch Venechar at the start of June. I've been paddleboarding for a while but never fully confident on the board. Ally showed me how to move around on the board while standing, taught me how to paddle better and even had me racing for the first time ever! At the end of the tour, we practiced different self rescue techniques. This helped me a lot as I'm a curvy girl and have always found this difficult. I've been practicing this self rescue since and what a difference! Great chat and banter throughout the whole tour, total inclusion, everyone was learning something new and there was plenty of laughter. And the bonus point, all kit was provided with the tour. It was great to try out different boards. Wetsuits and PFDs provided. Would love another adventure with Glasgow Paddleboarders soon!
