Went for the christmas markets, really enjoyed them. The food was great but highly overpriced. I wouldn't recommend the pick and mix. We did a few scoops and the price was Β£27. Very badly advertised price of Β£3.99 per 100g, be wary of that! Lots of fun stalls for games and really enjoyed the axe throwing, highly recommend that. Be careful of the uneven ground around the stalls though, tripping hazards. Overall a great little night out for the family.

Glasgow Green is one of the cleanest and most peaceful parks I’ve visited. The grounds are spotless, the paths are well-kept, and there’s plenty of space to relax or explore. The greenery is stunningβ€”lush lawns, tall trees, and colorful gardens make it perfect for a walk, picnic, or just soaking up nature. It’s a lovely area with historical landmarks like the People’s Palace and Doulton Fountain, and it’s easy to reach from the city center. Whether you’re out for a jog, walking the dog, or enjoying time with family, Glasgow Green is a fantastic spot to unwind. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!

My group stayed in Glasgow for the Worlds Bagpipe Championships these last 2 weeks. This was some of the groups 1st time in Scotland, including me and my daughter. My 1st impression was it reminded me of los angeles with the graffiti, homelessness, and some people on drugs tweeking on the streets. Our area was very walkable and we had no safety issues. Buchanan street was a nice visit with restaurants and shops. I loved seeing the architecture and art on buildings and my favorite part was visiting Pollock Park and seeing the Scottish Highland Cows and art museum. I was sad Pollok house was under renovation and closed but the Bridge and river were very beautiful. To get around town, we used Scotrail, Uber, taxis, or walked. Glasgow Green is a beautiful park as well. Scotland was so amazing!

Beautiful space. Magnificent monument and water fountain. A shame the fountain was off though. I bet it look glorious when it's running!

Great Park right next to the city centre. There is a foot/cycle path right alongside the Clyde river. It's convenient for a quick break from the hustle & bustle of the city centre. And like all the wonderful parks in Glasgow, it looks different in every season!

Great for older and younger kids. Not many parks cater for the older ones. Loads of green space. A fantastic Freewheel North hiring out gocarts, bikes etc and so good with kids and adults of all abilities. Very reasonably priced. Massive play area for kids and a smaller but still significantly large area for the toddler age group. Loads of picnic benches to sit at. There is also a cafe there but we didn't use it. All day fun and you actually don't need to spend any money. Bring your own picnic. Toilets too which is always a must with kids. Recommend very highly.

Glasgow green is a beautiful park with Amazing architecture around. It has the view of the city on one side and beautiful river Clyde on the other. The place is really serene. Great place for a day outing, bike ride and exploring around.
