   This walk was a delightful discovery! We visited on a drizzling and windy day when we wanted to go for a walk and were looking for a place that would offer some shelter. The route is well-maintained and clean. We especially enjoyed the sign posts which had descriptions of animals or trees, and corresponded with map's legend. We also enjoyed the wooden pictures that were hung in some of the trees above the path. I think the Stewarton Woodlands Action Trust has done an excellent job with this. We will definitely visit again.

   I love walking my dogs here, or riding my horse. It is well maintained and clean, with dog poo bins provided. The woods are beautiful at all times of the year. It is the best place for having a fresh relaxing walk in Stewarton. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that unfortunately there can be a smell from the water works sometimes, but there is obviously nothing that can be done about this.
