Amazing, inspiring and innovative place for the local St George Community, with many many local community groups under one roof acting as a life line to the community.

Extremely disappointing that the wellspring centre has involved itself in the politics of the EBLN. This organisation is meant to promote the health and wellbeing of the local community, road safety and air quality are key factors that the EBLN is trying to improve for all residents. Whatever the individual feelings of members or staff this is a shortsighted response and a lack of balance and neutrality which will impede the settlements ability to connect with ALL of the community.

Disappointed to be refused access to the cafe when others were allowed in, there wasn’t any reasoning for this and I have a health condition which makes me thirsty and needed a cup for water. It felt very u friendly.

The service provided by the staff is commendable; they create a welcoming environment that enhances the overall experience. They actively listen to clients and offer assistance with various needs, providing clear examples and valuable information. Their knowledge is impressive, and their kindness makes a significant difference. I truly appreciate the level of professionalism demonstrated in this service.

Great rooms for running community events like hosting young people for DigiLocal coding clubs

Lots of help to be had with different issues from health, budgeting, legal and general wellbeing. I access a support worker who helps with all kinds of issues. This is a charity organisation staffed with angels.

A very good community centre with lots going on. I have received fantastic help from the kind, knowledgeable people that work here. Always a warm welcome & lots of good advice given. A caring place at the heart of the community.

The Barton Hill Settlement is a cluster of built offices that offer free services and help, the majority of which is aimed at the Somali community around the area. Inside there are some changes since Covid-19 such as, its cafe is closed, and there was a small shift of furniture, but the main faces that I saw there were of young people serving youth. It was pleasant to see vegetables grown in the middle area between the offices. Growing plants reflected homely friendly welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately many of those offices are occupied by charities whose services are hanging on funding possibilities. Some might end their services to the communities if their funding has ended. There is a lift for those who can't climb few steps to the second floor, this is mainly helpful for the disabled. There aren't much space allocated for parking except for ambulance but one can find a place to park in the surrounding residential area.

Amazing place for parents and kids! Brilliant staff! I always feel welcome, listened to, warm and happy there! Kids have all they could wish for: messy play, all sorts of toys, garden, boats, books, snacks, songs etc. There is always something going on there. Thanks to all who contribute for this place to exist and to those who runs it and making it a cosy nest for us to meet. Love you all
