Beautiful spacious playground right next to the lovely Lake Grounds in Portishead. Peaceful place, very well equipped. There are also gym equipment and a skatepark. Very nice place to spend some family time
The ducks and other birds on the park lakes are so attractive and they get attracted to the people. Why because they are expecting food from the visitors. If some one is planning to visit the portishead sea side, recommend to keep some food in hands that is liked by birds. Kids can easily find lots of places and amenities here to spend a happy day.
Lovely for dog walking, sightseeing, jogging, cycling, boating, coffee and cake, cricket etc.
Nice kids park by the "beach" with play area, duck pond, adult gym machines (2 bikes and a sliding thing for your knees) and a climbing frame for slightly older kids (approximately 6 years and older). Plenty of swings, lots of variety of shade and seating including a small pine coppice which stays cool in the middle of summer. Free parking and a fairly standard cafe with a basic selection of brand name ice creams and lollies.
Safe and peaceful place to have a picnic . Seagulls do like to steal your food though.

Excellent park with plenty of green space. Children's play area is well equipped. Small rides and boating can be had at the far end of the park for a fee. Food to feed the ducks can be purchased from the cafe for £1. Public toilets cost 20p to gain entry per group.
