    Frustrating experience. Best to avoid. I ordered a pair of shoes for my self which were too tight as the size guide is completely inaccurate. They claim : ( StepEase | Ultra-Comfort Wide-Fit Orthopaedic Shoes ), When I contacted customer service, I was told I could either return them for an unreasonable fee or pay a discounted price for a replacement. No return fee was mentioned when i ordered the shoes, they sent the terms and condition after i made my complaint I thought the shoes were made in the UK, but I'm sure they come from China. So, selling from the UK, Made in China, and return to Switzerland for refund.

Save yourself the frustration and buy directly elsewhere. Very disappointing and misleading experience from a deceptive company. I'll donate these shoes to charity and forget every thought before I stress myself out even more.

    Ordered a pair of size 45 health shoes which were too small. Contacted them returning for size 46. Told they would send me a label for the package to be sent back to them at their expense. 4 or 5 e mails later and the threat of opening a dispute through Pay Pal, I am still no nearer getting my shoes exchanged than I was one month ago! Never, ever, will I deal with them again!

    I submitted a request for Virtual GP, this took place very quickly and was really good. I got a referral letter sent to me by email the same day which I then used in a claim. It took a while to get 5 year medical history which Healix require from my NHS GP and sent this through to them. Each email has an SLA of 3-days which seems about the same as the NHS. They responded to me asking for the referral letter which I resent to them, no reply for 9 days and chased them via phone. Quality of service seems to have dropped. If you look at the reviews up to a year ago they were generally very good. From a year ago there are many poor reviews, seems a massive drop in quality of service. This is the opposite experience that I have had with Bupa and Aviva. 1) 5 year medical history means I am blocked by my NHS GP 2) it takes 3-days to respond to a simple email 3) if they don't respond then you need to chase them With other providers it's all referred and sorted on the same day. This has taken almost 1 month. I think the lack of proactiveness is deliberate as people give up which then reduces claims. Very disappointed and will be recommending that my employer switch providers.

    I had a very bad fall on marble tiles within 30 minutes of arriving at our holiday hotel. Was hospitalised as I'd broken my femur and needed surgery. Healix International were absolutely amazing and dealt with everything on our behalf. Every contact was dealt with compassionately with very understanding staff. From being admitted to hospital, my operation and discharge back to the hotel until I was fit to fly. Then the repatriation with a medical assistance team everything was amazing and took the pressure from us from already dealing with very difficult circumstances. Thank you to everyone who dealt with our case and to a company that showed great compassion and obviously that is continued on with your fantastic staff.

    They’ve left me stranded abroad in pain for days, waiting for them to sort repatriation after a serious leg injury in France. Tried to sort my own flights and assistance but can’t get hold of the airline to sort it so relying on these β€œspecialists”. Have regularly called to chase up and constantly told they would expedite and ensure they called back with a plan within 1-2 hours. Never have!! Horrible service from a useless company.

    Don't refund money in good time. Still waiting after 2 years.....getting access to private health is cumbersome and very poor.

    After taken ill with pneumonia I used my cover due to a 8 day stay in hospital. Also lost my voice so had my mother call on my behalf. They could not of been more helpful and professionally at a time when it was needed. I’m so glad I had cover and Healix, they have and still are making it such a pleasant experience during a rather unpleasant time. Even with after care there are no problems and staff on the phone so very helpful. Highly recommended. Thank you.
