   Spectrum supplied cleaners to a factory I was working at an unfortunately the cleaner left the fold out cleaning sign against a wall. Believing this area to be safe as it was against a wall I slipped and fell and now have a serious back injury. The Company recreated the scene by photographic means but this time did it correctly with proper safety signs large cones etc. This theatrical recreation was was designed so as not to pay out on an insurance claim. Naturally there was an absence of date and time stamp on the photo. They are an unethical and dangerous company best avoided.

   Avoid reviews are shocking on all sites but thought i give it a chance. Worked for 3 4 months was alot hours but staff turnover is shocking but soon seen why. They don't pay u the right amount and when disputed was told didn't have enough evidence so when recorded took to 3rd month rate of pay , the hours and also milage all short. Made to jump through hoops with hr managers useless reply when suits them when trying to resolve these issues. Only partly resolved once I did there job and sent in milage sheets hours worked etc as I had photo and records still didn't get all was due they obviously need it more. Staff aren't trained afall no one has cosh etc your shown what to do by untrained people then wing it. The owners daughter had us cleaning bird poo with lemon gel wich Has no antibacterial benefits atall. Wich can cause multiple diseases equipment is disgustingly dirtys so is there vans inside and out. There is very few people I met competent of the job. When working events were understaffed and expected to do the work of 3 people people would leave and not get replaced. When said to the boss daughter whos acting boss atm about rate of pay the problems and I'll contact union rep was informed go ahead nothing they can do as company was not union registered although there is other channels to go down union reps can sgill advise even if company is not registered. If want a job where your valued , people work as a team , you get paid for what you work and stability definatly avoid this company quick cash for a week or 2 for events I would even avoid this company.remeber don't drink bleach as this company will give you no relevant training what so ever, even told to read instructions when told then the colegue was unable to read espc such small writing

   I have worked for spectrum for 5 years. Dedicating my efforts and work to the upmost standards. All was great. Untill they hired a new manager.. i feel like he had it in for me for a while. And I have been singled out. Also there was a breach in employee confidenciality. Witch i will seek advice on. The manager , Having his cousin work on sites. Causing / stirring alot of trouble , for not just myself but a few other past employees aswell. . Pays to be the bosses cousin. All employees should be treated fairly. Not in this case. Im shocked. You send emails and u get no replies if it doesnt suit them. But expect you to reply instantly to there emails. Appalling. They do not care about there staff.

   I worked for them from December 2019 till February 2020, then finally the woman's open in 2020. Some Great staff but overall a highly toxic and disorganized company propped up by flashy PR. Whilst I was working for them, they had lost over half their sites in Edinburgh. I left when I was yelled at in front a room of journalists by a supervisor for asking which bins to empty.

   Don't work this company they are a total disgrace they invite you for interview and it's in a car park .Get offered job as mobile cleaner then a few hours later get told not got the job because they said itbwoukd cost to much money for me tontravelbto sites but that's what a mobile cleaner does. I would not rate this company

   They were a gd company to work with till manager change Left over a client whingers about a pizza box in bin Manager didn't understand people empty cars as soon as bins got emptied Manager before no problems

   Transferred to Spectrum a few months ago, theyve been really good. I got brand new uniform, new stuff to clean with, and new hoover! Manager is really nice and helps me alot. I like it in the summer because theres always extra work at the golf and football games.
