Just a unique experience which is all about freedom, creativity, spontaneity and real connection with nature. The whole enterprise is infused with the boundless benevolence of Rachel and Edward. I'm so glad my children had a chance to be part of Swainswick Explorers.
Our son loved Swainswick Explorers. He said all the instructors and other children were kind. He felt happy and wanted to come back. I wish I could say that was the case for all holiday camps! He says now that when he grows up, he wants to get lost in the wild, excitedly telling us how to start a fire for cooking, etc. We hope to return next year.
Both my boys have been going to Swainswick explorers in various forms since they started school and it has been an major enriching and confidence building experiences in their lives. Two very different personalities and abilities but when I asked them this holidays which holiday clubs they wanted to do, swainswick’s explorer days got the biggest cheer.

Swainswick Explorers are amazingly organised and have a wonderful personal meet and greet every day your child joins. It gave confidence and reassurance to myself and my children. The sessions supported in growing independence in my child, and such they became more self sufficient, learning new skills and team building. Highly recommended.
My daughter had her first 2 days wild exploring and loved it!! All the children were made to feel so welcomed and she made friends immediately. Highly recommend this and she can’t wait for the winter holiday adventure camp.
Swainswick Explorers are TOP on our daughters holiday clubs list. ADVENTUROUS, being explorers may it be on a bike, on a Landrover or in the woods ... GREAT staff! I know my daughter will be out in the open, well cared for and will have FUN! Many tales ... Don't hesitate. And if your child is glued to a tablet/screen, book EXPLORERS.
Wonderful setting and great activities. Our boy adores his explorer adventures in the woodland :) We recently had his birthday party at the Explorer and it was both very fun for the children and stress free for the parents. I strongly recommend them.
Swainswick Explorers is an amazing experience for kids looking to have an adventure in the holidays. We loved that the kids get outside whatever the weather. The play workers are fantastic, inspiring, calm and patient. We loved the little write up they get at the end of the day. Thoroughly recommend.
