   Terrible service whilst trying to purchase horse insurance. Phoned the call centre with all my details, they then requested full medical history due to a previous claim, completely understand this as my previous insurance put a clause on this which is what I expected Seib to do, instead they advised there will be "a lot of exclusions added" (advisors words not the underwriter) then was asked for insurance schedule, then asked for renewal from current insurance, then never bothered replying to me!

   Usually SEIB have been good for my horse but I tried to make a claim at the beginning of June, even my vet phoned them up to explain the situation and clarify. A few back and fore emails which would take weeks for them to reply to. They still haven’t paid out and are now ignoring my emails - the last one I sent to them a month ago. They clearly don’t want to pay so are dragging it out as long as possible while my poor boy suffers! Terrible! I’ve never experienced customer service like it :(

   I have been trying to activate this policy for 15 days now. SEIB happily took the money on day one, requested some additional information that was sent, and have then not responded to 4 emails , only for them today ask for yet more infomation, which agin has been provided. But now they are saying that they require a 5 stage vetting for an unbacked 5 year old that cost £3500.00 - despite their own website and insurance application form clearly stating that below £5000 no vetting was required, let alone a 5 stage vetting!...

   Steve has helped me for the second time with an insurance policy, this time it was car insurance. He has shaved a lot off the previous quote I had with my policy cover from a large well known company. As well as coming up with a competitive quote, he is friendly, explains everything well, and it is so nice to be able to speak directly to him rather than going to a call centre. He has made the whole process worthwhile and actually enjoyable too.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and approachable, taking time to find out what we really needed and always getting back in touch when they said they would.
