Used to provide NVQ training for staff when they were based in Barnet. One of the nicest companies I worked with, great management and staff.
3 years later and I’m still trying to resolve an insurance claim. No follow up, always myself chasing them to get information. To the point I had to do their work and get experts in to do what they needed. Works which have totalled over £10k, they are trying to pay me £2.5k! Will never use them again.
As a letting agent we use Hamilton Fraser's HF Assist feature whereby we can call or email for any legal advice. I generally speak with Dale or Julie and they are both so helpful and efficient, but anyone I have spoken to there have been great. I use them regularly and they always come back to me swiftly with a comprehensive and informative response, and there is often a bit of humour thrown in too, which is always welcome when things get a bit stressful! It's so nice to know that if I'm unsure on anything, or just want someone to back me up and ensure that I am advising my clients correctly, they can clarify things quickly and easily for me. I don't know what I'd do without them!
When you call to make a claim, you will be diverted to voicemail. You leave a message and no one return the call. But when it's time to renew your policy, they will harass you with several calls daily. I will never use it again. What kind of insurer close claim line at 5pm anyway? By far they are the worst insurer I've ever used!
Please read if you have a current policy with these. We’ve had ongoing vexatious/fake claims for 4 years. This company and our allotted solicitors have made a business decision to settle a clearly fake claim by a serial claimer - despite us supplying the same documentation over and over again (worrying that confidential information hasn’t been received allegedly). The claim that they want to settle, without our permission - that’s right, read the small print, they’ll override your wishes because it’s a better business financial decision outcome for them, is easy to defend, but cheaper to settle. In other words, they do not care about your business reputation at all, they’ll settle without permission because it’s in the small print that they can. This in turn leads to the vexatious claimant's mates also having a bash (it’s a nightmare) FYI, they were unsupportive during our successful BI pandemic insurance claim too. I wouldn’t recommend this insurance company at all. Don’t fall for their fancy media and adverts, they haven’t demonstrated an in-depth knowledge about aesthetics to us at all, there is no rationale for not going for more of the better established insurance companies. Seriously save your money and sanity long term. There are far better companies out there for cheaper that will offer a better service.
