Shit service. Was trying to extend/renew/buy a policy and they just hung up on me. Completely defensive. They said we can't extend it (that's fine), then she said we can't make recommendations for policies, and didn't even mention that I could buy a single trip extension. Hopeless. Then tried to ring back four times and they wouldn't answer.
Making a simple claim is beyond difficult. Poor processes, incompetent people and nothing set up for the customer experience. I will be raising a formal complaint in taking 3 months of trying to provide details of my claim and constantly being told the formats are wrong, or the attachments aren’t how they would like them. Just not good
The worst travel insurance provider in the sector, every information is scattered, the underwriters changing constantly as they don’t wanna do business with them, impossible to get thru to someone as the numbers are invalid. Stay away!
This travel insurance company is a joke and I wish I had never purchased it. When it comes to claims, good luck, I purchased the worldwide backpacker policy and it's pretty much a holiday policy just double the price. You are not covered for most things that are you would consider normal or things that you would expect for a policy to cover. The people that you are dealing with are like robots where they just reply to you with automated responses without even trying to help you or take any time to review your circumstances. I wish I did more research and reading before purchasing this useless policy. Stay away and save yourself some money.
