    Horrible telephone experience with a lady called Chantell Castle in the complaints department. She was very condescending and patronizing when on the phone. She was assuming more than investigating the actual facts of my complaint. My car has sat idle during the fixing of my car and therefore an engine management light appeared (as confirmed by a mechanic). There was no light when I bought the car 3 years ago and when the car went it. During the conversation she was deflecting and somehow putting the blame back to me. I have raised this complaint about her on top of the current complaint I have about not having my car in over 3 months. Waiting for outcome, but if the outcome is not in my favour, I will have no choice but to take it to small claims court.

    Superb service. Put in a claim for my wife's dental treatment which she needed after an accident. Claim was accepted and paid within hours. 5 STAR SERVICE. Will definitely use them again for my insurance purposes.

    BEWARE! DO NOT USE. The 2 times I reached out by email, AMRITA KALE (Client Experience Co-ordinator) took 10 DAYS to respond to my query. When she finally got back the second time, her response was unprofessional, lacked an explanation and extremely unhelpful. A complete waste of money.

    I recently bought travel insurance from Allianz - a one-year multi-trip policy. I had questions about the documentation, and, despite getting one answer the next day by email, I took a chance and went to their Croydon office (near me) in the hope of getting other questions and clarifications resolved in person, by a human being. Ten minutes after turning up unannounced, Hamiyd Saleem met me at reception, where I'd had a free coffee, and proceeded to resolve all my questions within about 20 minutes. He explained things, printed and emailed updates to my policy, and voluntarily gave me a 30% discount on the premium to compensate me for my inconvenience. Unbelievably good customer service. Mind you; I buy insurance and never claim so maybe my experience may change if I ever do. But so far so impressive. Recommended.

    We registered a claim on 4/11/22, after my partners mum had a 2nd serious stroke, leaving her paralysed down her left and right hand side of her body. We took out this insurance to cover us if we're unable to attend a show on 3/12/22 to see Westlife. Today after repeated phone calls to there office, and 3 times them telling us there were no bank details on the claim, then being told it had been passed for a payment to be raised over a month ago, we still have not received a payment. Then today I ring again, after I made a complaint over the delays in the claim, and being told on the 18th January 2023, that the claim was urgently being processed, to be told they now want more documents. Not once in 3 months have we been contacted by the claims department. Plus I logged into the claim today, and it's not been tou he'd since 28/11/22. This company lies to you, and are using every tactic possible to avoid paying out. We today have complained to the Financial Ombudsman. This is the worst claims experience I have ever had. The staff are incompetent, and just lie through their teeth. They should be stopped from trading, and need investigating by the Financial Conduct Authority. I intend to take it all the way, to the TV, Press and FOS, and the FCA.

    Today I took out travel insurance with Allianz, it was easy and definitely a great price, extremely pleased. Later on I phoned them to amend the dates as my holiday dates had changed. The gentleman who dealt with my query over the phone, (which was answered in seconds! 'Tahir' was absolutely fantastic. He made this really quick and simple, emailed me, my new travel insurance policy straight away. He was polite and professional and it was honestly such a pleasure to have Tahir resolve this for me. I give this company 5 stars for service/customer experience from beginning to end.

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Made a claim due to being ill with covid, claim was accepted received a confirmation of refund letter via email. Was told I would have the money back in my account 5-10 days. 3 weeks passed still no sign, 4 weeks I called and was told it was being passed to a manger as there was a problem with the bank transfer on their end. Was told some one would call me back, a few days later I had to call back as still no update and was told some one would call me back that day, a couple days later still no call! I’ve also emailed twice and had no correspondence. I’m currently on the phone now trying to get through for a second time as the last time I was CUT OFF!!!! Never again will I use for concert ticket insurance, or any other insurance for that matter. I won’t be giving up!

    I put my claim in on 20/06/2022. Still waiting to be paid. I have called many times and been told since 20/09/2033 it is with approvals. Still don't have my money. Nobody contacts me. It is shocking

    Beware!!! if you're using a insurance company check that Allianz is not the underwriter and do yourself a favour if it is and go elsewhere. Spent 50+ hours calling, e-mailing, providing documents, going to doctors for proof verification etc which caused stress and upset as they were making it as difficult as possible for us to get our money from our travel insurance policy claim. Took 1 year to settle travel insurance claim eventually even though they confirmed they had all the documents they needed 6 months prior. Raised a complaint direct but they failed to deal with that also it so i complained through 2 x third party. Took over a year to get the claim paid, we we're one of the lucky ones. Most pensioners would have simply given up. GOOD LUCK!
