Absolutely brilliant to be able to actually talk to someone when you ring even at a weekend. Always efficient and sort out a claim very quickly.
One day after my annual car insurance policy had lapsed, NFU Sevenoaks / Meopham sent me a letter stating: "Please note that if we do not receive immediate payment, then regrettably we will be forced to cancel the above poliy(ies). This may result in a charge for the period of insurance between the effective date and cancellation which will remain your responsibility". I'm not sure in what world they think they can a) state a person is financially responsible for a contract of insurance that has ended or b) imply that they are unilaterally continuing your annual car insurance, and threaten to charge 'cancellation' fees as a result. I'm utterly dismayed by these guys. UPDATE: NFU Sevenoaks & Meopham subsequently sent a letter stating that the car insurance contract that they had unilaterally decided was continuing, despite the lack of renewal on my behalf, had been cancelled (therefore explicity acknowledging that they unilaterally decided to open a new annual insurance contract / roll over the previous annual contract without permission to do so).
For a number of years we have been using Ryan and his colleagues for our insurance. They provide an excellent service and we are more than happy to recommend them.
