   We needed some cabinets cut down to size but lacked the tools and skill. So we asked Jim if he could do it, luckily we didn't have to wait long. We called he said come on over I can do it now. Only took a few minutes and we had exactly the right sizes to put up our bridging units in the kitchen. Thank you. We recommend you use Jim Sharples Furniture. His workshop also has parking right outside.

   Jim and Jo were wonderful to work with. We got them to do a cabinet and some shelves either side of a fire place and I am so happy with it. They communicated very well throughout, guided me in my decisions, were very patient with my slow responses and talked us through what they thought would be best. I am so pleased with the finished result and Jim cleaned up so well after so we could use the room straight away!

   Jim and Jo designed and built a beautiful bedroom suite of wardrobe, chest of drawers with upper cupboards and an apropriately tiny bedside cabinet. The materials used, which are reflected in the built units, demonstrate Jim's high quality furniture making skills. The whole process of the commission, from initial consultation, design development, updates on progress, to final installation and the staged payment schedule, was flawless. I have no hesitation in recommending Jim Sharples Furniture.

Having selected a design, we received regular updates, including photographs, as materials were sourced and prepared. Jim visited us to finalise measurements and discuss finishes.    It’s hard to do justice to the incredible work of Jim in just a few words all I can say is that it was a pleasure working with Jim and Jo from start to finish and we couldn’t be happier with our kitchen which is beyond what we imagined it would be. From the very first call to the final fit the customer service was exemplary. We had a broad idea of what we wanted our kitchen to be but Jim and his team worked so hard to make sure the design and layout worked exactly as we needed it to. The build was complicated by covid and external factors taking longer than expected but Jim was so accommodating and understanding. He even worked extra hard to get us a functional kitchen in time for Christmas. His craftsmanship is second to none with every tradesperson commenting on the quality of the cabinetry. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. My only advice is to get him in early in your project as his design advice was invaluable. Thanks Jim & Jo!

   Jim came out with his mobile sawmill to help turn a 150 year old oak beam into shelves. We'd had to replace the beam during some house renovations but wanted to make use of the wood and retain some of our home's history. Jim understood completely and took the time to listen and understand to what we needed. It was a risk without knowing the quality of the wood inside but we've ended up with four traditional shelves that will look great in our kitchen. I'd highly recommend Jim and would love to be able to get him back for other furniture making. Thank you :)
