   Portisbeds is a great, friendly local bed shop. John is extremely knowledgeable and really takes the time to listen to what you want. We were in the process of buying a new build, and when the house was delayed, Portisbeds kindly stored our bed for us until we had a move-in date. The delivery service was excellent — they handled everything, including assembly. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough and will definitely go back in the future!

   I cannot rate Portisbeds highly enough. Jon, Ben and the team were so patient with me whilst I chose a bed frame and mattress that were just right for my back issues. I literally spent hours in there trying all the mattresses and not once did I feel rushed. The delivery was really smooth and I am delighted with my new bed. Thanks so much Portisbeds :)

   When I came in to buy a Super King bed my (yet to be diagnosed) autistic 3 year old son had a meltdown, the shop staff were super calm and made every effort to make him welcome, which included giving him as much time as we needed – they even offered to open the showroom after hours when it would have been quieter for him. They re-assured me that if the super king didn’t fit (up the stairs) they would bring it back to the shop and work with us to find an alternative solution or provide a refund. For comparrison, Bensons in Bristol said it would be a huge problem and there would be re-stocking & failed delivery fees if the bed didn’t fit. Overall a very pleasant experience and from now on, we wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!

   Fantastic experience from this company. At the store the sales advisors were very informative and gave great advise on mattresses without seeming like they were trying to 'sell' anything or being at all pushy. Always responsive on the phone and the aftersale support from John was second to none. Would not hesitate to recommend and return in the future.
