   Charlie at The Emporium, Lacock, has been superb, we couldn't of wished for anything better. He made bespoke bookcases, creating an integral log basket. Super pleased with them. We needed a couple of extra shelves and these were provided WITHOUT ADDITIONAL COST and delivered straight to our door. You don't get this level of customer care anywhere else. We are looking forward to having him back here to design and build a utility area. Thanks Charlie.

   My partner and I came across the Emporium showroom in Lacock and instantly fell in love with their kitchens. Charlie was incredibly friendly, and told us their whole process of designing, making and fitting their kitchens from start to finish. We booked a morning with Nigel who came to our to look at our current kitchen, which was dated, lacked space and a pain to work in. Nigel is extremely knowledgeable, and gave us some fantastic ideas we’d never thought it. Our kitchen is now done it’s better than we’d ever imagined. The team were very friendly, a great laugh to have around and so helpful along the way. You would also think handmade bespoke kitchens may not be affordable, we were amazed at the price. We can’t recommend these guys more! Thank you

   After having so many problems from oak furniture land we decided to approach a smaller company for an oak furniture set. We decided on the emporium and we are so glad we did. Nigel was extremely helpful and delivered exactly what was promised. We love our furniture and will definitely use this company again in the future.

   Nigel came to my address to measure for a cabinet. All seemed to be going well until I asked basic, reasonable question from a lay person to a supposed expert. His reaction was dismissive, spikey and rude, which made me feel very uncomfortable. The questions included:- *what paint do you use? *can I move the cabinet easily if needed *can you send me a photo of another cabinet I was considering buying. The overall response to this was that he was getting ‘a bad vibe’ from me and he didn’t expect these type of questions! He lacked emotional intelligence, no customer skills and had no idea how to communicate, leaving me feeling very uncomfortable in my own home I had been really looking forward to having the tv cabinet, which he promised to have ready before Christmas I’m assuming he didn’t want the job and this was his way of getting out of it! Suffice to say, I have walked away. I would much rather give my money to another carpenter! I’m sure I’m not his first victim and won’t be the last. I would recommend having another person around to support you when meeting Nigel! Thankfully, this is the first trades person I’ve ever had a problem with, hopefully it will be the last
