Our tables were nicely set up for our Xmas dinner. The team was fantastic, friendly and very accommodating but our main server was Jubilee, she's hyper-efficient and looked after us during our Xmas meal with friends and family. My steak was always cooked to my preference. Waiting time was quick. Definitely will be a regular customer.
Amazing food, came for our wedding anniversary and my birthday and nothing was too much trouble! Even got a free dessert to help us celebrate! Great service by Nely! Would definitely recommend.
I had an amazing experience at Miller & Carter — the service staff (Nely and Jess) were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Our server (Nely and Jess) made sure everything was perfect, checked in just the right amount, and made us feel completely looked after without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to find a team that balances professionalism with warmth so well — they really made our visit special. Thank you to all the staff for making the evening such a pleasure. I’ll definitely be coming back soon
Fantastic meal, came in for a test meal before Christmas and we have been thoroughly impressed. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice and chilled and the service was 5 stars with no faults. Rarely encountered this where the staff actually seems happy to do their job. Would not say the same about all staff but our table service provider Melissa was refreshingly nice !
Lovely; it was lovely. We had 2 Sunday sets and a main between the 3 of us, and it was more than enough. Nicely done steaks and a whole range of options to pair it with, with multiple options of sauces and sides. The sets already come with a 1/4 head of salad; so stick to chips for your carbs. Of course they also had more than just steaks, so you should have more than enough options. Service was excellent and responsive.
Really lovely steak restaurant, with excellent staff. It is hard to believe that Miller & Carter are owned by the same company as Harvester! The steaks here are outstanding and it's got a lovely homely feel. The are many options for non-steak eaters so don't worry if steak isn't your thing. The staff are exemplary here kind thoughtful and knowledgeable. It's not cheap of course but it's not too expensive as a treat and still reasonable value as it is an excellent experience.
Very welcoming upon arrival. Seated quickly and great service from waiting staff. Steak cooked to perfection but let down by being a bit 'gristly'. Onion loaf was a bit cold which made it a bit greasy, but rest of meal, including starters and deserts, was really nice. My wife mentioned it was her birthday the following day to our waitress Katy and her dessert arrived with 'Happy Birthday' written in chocolate sauce on the plate. A really nice touch and much appreciated. The toilets are accessed through a small bar area where the local 'youths' attempted to look intimidating but were more pitiful than scary. The only criticism I have is that areas of the car park are poorly lit and there is no clear signpost to the entrance.
We had a fabulous time as usual. Our server Nely was so friendly and attentive. We booked for next weekend while we were having our meal.
Stopped here for lunch before driving back home, staff were all friendly and sat us quickly. Great service. My partners and my meals were very tasty, went for the steak sandwich cooked to our liking, our meal was part of the two course deal, both courses were a good size. Good variety of drinks. If in area again will definitely visit again.
fantastic visit to M&C on Friday night, everything was delicious, our server, Harper, was friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and the banoffee pie was incredible. Great stuff.
