Seven months ago, I gave birth in this hospital. I was bleeding out, and they had to cut and insert something to stop the bleeding. My kidneys shut down, and I had to stay in the hospital for six days. All those days I felt a very strong pain in my lower back. No matter how many times I brought it to my doctor's attention, he never really listened to me. I kept complaining about the same pain With the health and safety visit. And it seemed like no one wanted to listen to me. Many months passed, and the pain only increased. After multiple complaints, my GP determined that there was a piece of skin hanging off and bleeding In my privates. It got infected for a moment, I had a fever and vomited. They gave me an appointment for April. In April, the surgery was unsuccessful. The material is still there, it hurts, and it's difficult to lead a normal life. I can't hold my baby, I can't even sneeze without pain. The situation is so serious that I'll have another operation this week. At St. Michael's Hospital. If something goes wrong, I can only blame the person who made the cut and the doctors who ignored my pleas for help. It's inhumane to suffer every day. And to live with this pain. I can't enjoy my motherhood. My time with my family or my baby. Because her mother has limitations due to pain. It affects my entire life. I hope this doesn't happen to those doctors or their families. Because it's living with chronic pain and constant bleeding. The only thing I would like is for you not to minimize or ignore your patients. If something hurts, please don't say everything is "fine." Be honest. Say you don't see the problem because the entire area is red and you can't distinguish the tissues. But don't say everything is as it should be because it wasn't. No one paid attention to me until the skin broke out in my intimate area and started bleeding more. And getting infected. There are no words to describe the pain and frustration I feel. And the fear I already have of having surgery again, of everything going wrong again. The worst part of all this is the amount of time I can't smile without pain. The fact that I can hold my baby or play with her. Or do any physical activity without feeling like I'm dying of pain.

Won’t go into specifics, but wife was referred her. She waited 12 hours from 5pm to 5am the next day and was still not seen. Unfortunately the stress of it all ment she left after constantly being told she’d be seen within the next 15 minutes but wasn’t ever seen. She was kept in the dark with no updates. She was given a pillow and quilt to sleep, but the ward kept its lights on until 3am and music playing. She left at 5am crying her eyes out from stress. Unfortunately after seeing Gp the same day that she left the ward we were referred back to here. She’s supposed to be seen within the hour but it’s not been over 2 already. No updates, and told she could be waiting over 6 hours again. What the hell is wrong with the NHS. No one is helpful, no one is telling us how we must wait. Tons of nurses sitting around but no doctors.

First-time parents with complicated birth. The midwives could not have been more outstanding. A lot of the staff have recently qualified yet (except for asking) you'd never know. The teaching here must be amazing. Yes, there can be a lot of waiting until you are seen, but do you really want to spend your taxes on always having staff sitting idle in case you arrive? Best medical treatment ever. Let's keep the NHS well supported.

Their immediate aftercare is brilliant, just pray you don't need to come back should anything go wrong with the sutures, a 6hr+ wait to be seen seems to be the norm with one quite frankly rude reception staff member who couldn't care less
