John was very knowledgeable and correctly diagnosed my problem unlike my GP surgery. He recommended a course of treatment which is rectifying the problem after months of going to my family practice. He has tremendous experience and is my first point of call for muscle injuries. Thanks very much John.

After incurring an injury affecting my inner thigh muscles I reached out to JH Physio after enduring pain and increased lack of movement over 2 weeks previous. OMG I’m so glad I did. I emailed John whilst at work through his website and within 10 mins he was on the end of the phone discussing what I’d done. We agreed on an appointment the following day. I wasn’t expecting an appointment so quickly and was super impressed. I contacted JH Physio based on the Google reviews and his website and knew I was in safe hands. John highlighted the importance of bringing someone with me due to the area I had injured (tendons in groin). John reiterated on arrival of my appointment whether I was happy having a male carry out my physio, due to the sensitivity of the area. He did recommend a female physio. I declined this but was very impressed to hear that this was available should I require this. I’ve had 3 sessions with John and I’ve gone from having zero mobility in my left leg, unable to lift it, to gaining a good deal of mobility, where I can now lift my left leg. Still have a way to go but I’ve put in a lot of hard graft which John talked me through which I carried out at home. John has a wealth of knowledge and expertise, was professional at all times. He has a lifetime of experience and I felt completely at ease knowing I was in safe hands. If you need a physio I highly recommend John. I can’t thank you enough John for getting me to where I am today and although it’s not an easy road to recovery, I know I have the right support and specialist to help me achieve it.

John is an excellent physio with a wealth of experience and well known amongst the local sports community. I've been seeing John recently for a problem that turned out to require surgery. John was most reassuring and helped me through what was a difficult time and has also kept his sessions relevant and fun! My first choice for a physio locally.

I recently injured myself during my training plan for Manchester Marathon. This was a real blow with only 6 weeks to go. John kindly opened early on a Saturday morning to see me. John diagnosed the injury and explained what had happened. John and I discussed treatment plans and agreed on an intensive plan to assist my recovery quickly. Thanks to John's treatment, I was back on the roads in 2 weeks and now I'm heading to Manchester. I couldn't recommend John enough for his time and knowledge and thank him for his excellent treatment Nick Roberts

I went to see John Higgs on the recommendation of a friend last Saturday. I had a crash on my bicycle three weeks ago and had severe bruising and a large haematoma on my left thigh as well as other injuries. My GP told me it would take six weeks for me to be back on my bike and I was feeling very dispondent. I have seen John three times in the last six days and the transformation in my condition has been astonishing. As well as the treatment, he has given me some really good advice to continue my rehab and what to look out for in terms of any ongoing issues. I thought my cycling season was ruined but thanks to John I will resume some very gentle training over the weekend and as a result will only miss two events rather than the six I feared. This time last week I was struggling to walk and get out of bed! His wealth of knowledge and experience shines through and I would recommend his services without hesitation. John Malyckyj
