Extremely rude worker. I would never come back here. Save your money and go elsewhere. Feels like you're doing something illegal asking for extra vinegar! Disgraceful.
Everything is very tasty, clean, all the workers are very nice, always speak to you politely. I really liked it, the food is generally very tasty, as if it were a restaurant. I recommend this excellent place to everyone. I sincerely thank everyone who works there. You are simply great.
Really good local fish and chip shop - with lots more. Really tasty shish served with tasty fresh salad and pitta. Great service too. Thanks for putting right a recent Uber mix up on orders - really great service!
The medium Cod is huge and their medium chips are way large enough for one person. The fish was cooked to order (8-10 mins for a medium cod) and the chips were freshly cooked in front of me too. The fish is consistently grease free and crisp, whilst the chips are always crunchy. The owner fries brilliantly, which is why it now has become my go-to chippy. One last thing, you can eat-in for the same price. The photo is of cod and medium chips and is easily large enough for one person.. I paid £10.80 for this (Jan 2024). Do note that if I took it away it is very likely that I would be given an even larger portion of chips!
Simply superb!! On a another level, and I've sampled many different Fish n Chips in the area, this exceeds and comes in at No.1. Why? The fish is fresh, sweet and top quality, as is the batter. The hand cut chips match, all in generous sample, and the battered sausages pure heaven!! The owner is a true gentleman, open, friendly, smiling and well mannered. Thank heavens you exist :)
This place is incredible value for money and everything I’ve had is delicious with huge portions. The half chicken, chips and coleslaw is first class.
Fantastic local chippy with some lovely alternative options like a fabulous Greek salad, or roast chicken. I’ve eaten here twice and am certain to keep coming back regularly. Two thumbs up!
So far so good, we have fish at least twice a month as a family dinner. Sides usually we do ourselves, so can't comment on theirs. Curry sauce is goooood. Grilled Lamb chops are nicely done. Always fresh and tasty. In Cod We Trust!
