I have a chest infection and was expecting to wait at least a week for an appointment or have to go to the walk in centre. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could get a same day appointment (maybe this was just over the Christmas and New Year).

I would like to thank staff for being very helpful when I needed to speak to a clinician before I go away on holiday. I called just after 8.30 and used the call back service which was very efficient and I could carry on working whilst waiting for call back. Appt was made for same day. Very efficient service. Thank you

I am incredibly grateful for the care and support I have received from Dr Kissane over the past 11 months. Various treatments for my symptoms and referral to a specialist endometriosis centre has meant that I’ve been seen and treated in a short space of time and feel so much better than I did at the start of the year - thanks so much!

From the reception staff to nurses to the GP’s I cannot fault the Armada Practice. I have never had a bad experience, receptionist’s are always polite and as accommodating as they can be with the restraints they have. Nurses are always efficient and explain what they are doing and any follow up, and the doctors themselves are always welcoming and I feel listened to.

I accessed the health centre on Friday 31st October after having a worrying health issue the previous evening. I was spoken to on reception by Lucille who was vey friendly and professional and listened to my issue with a calm and concerned approach. Obviously she was worried enough about my issue and I was allocated an appointment with Dr Frawly. I received a very thorough assessment by Dr Frawley who reassured me that my issue was even though uncommon was nothing to be overly concerned about. Overall a very caring and professional experience which is something I have received for various personal issues over the past 3 years. Thank You Dave.

The system is broken ,and not fit for purpose. What changed it was working before Covid. Now virtually impossible to get through to make an appointment , Only to be told all gone ring again and again etc starting at 8.30 am tomorrow.

I found a breast mark that had changed. The receptionist told me no appointments, if I went in tomorrow at 8.30 I should be able to get an appointment which is fine. What shocked me was the receptionist told me in wasn’t urgent, how can that comment be made by a receptionist. And then suggest i went private. I was a receptionist for 33 years and just recently retired. Not very impressed, I total understand the day to day challenges the reception team have to deal with and have every sympathy.

I have been with this doctors for over a year and never been able to get an appointment and the receptionist is no help. Left holding on the phone for extremely long periods of time and when they do finally answer, they want you to do the same the next day. Receptionist rude and don’t care by the tone of their voice and patient don’t get the care they deserve. If I could give no stars I would. Move to a different doctor.

GP's are average at best for providing a prognosis where there is no follow up or further diagnosis, just get palmed off to other departments ( which you have to call separately) Terribly mannered reception staff. Do not contact patients with there results, they have to call them, however they do not pick up the phone and you have to call back after 2 o'clock for results (why?) This practise is very behind on the times and would not recommend to the fit and healthy, let alone anyone who needs a GP surgery!

Although this is a good health centre it is VERY difficult to get an appointment. When I do manage to get an appointment, the nurses or GP I deal with have always been friendly and helpful. If I had an ongoing health condition I wouldn't like to use this surgery as I probably couldn't get regular appointments, but for someone who is okay health wise and isn't in need of many appointments, it's okay. But, it did take me over 5 weeks to get an appointment to see a nurse at an available time for me. Problem with NHS, its understaffed and I can imagine all health centres are like this today.
