Made a request for an appointment at 9am on Monday was seen by 11:45am the same day with a full range of diagnostics taken, the receptionist was friendly and the doctor friendly and helpful!
I came in late just by 10 minutes late, quite drenched by the rain. They said that my appointment was just a 7 minutes slot. I was supposed just to have been taken a blood test, and there were only 3 people waiting there including myself. The receptionist who talked to me wasn't rude at all but the other was.
Appalling rude place, receptionist is very abrupt and rude. Told there was a wait of 10 minutes, currently still waiting and I have waited over an hour. Very dated place would not recommend. You can hear the patients in their appointment rooms because the place is so deadly silent. No privacy whatsoever.
Useless. You can tell it's a surgery for hopeless part-timers because those are the opening hours they run. Prescription requests are made exclusively by pushing scraps of paper through the letterbox, because the staff would rather that people went without essential medication than learn how to use a fax machine to send a prescription to a competent practice. They repeatedly misprinted my prescription, which should have been a repeat but never was. Good doctors let down by stone age administration. Oh, and it takes a fortnight to get an appointment. Save yourself the bother.
I like the practice as its close to home BUT just wished they would open 5 days a week down there as you cannot always get in to brooklea health centre. I like the call bk service were a dr phones you bk if its urgent enough. PPL saying about the receptionist in which there is so many of them i hve no reason to complain to be honest. N if u are late for your appointment its easy answer iz to leave home earlier so your on time. They work to tight schedules so its our duty to be on time.
Really not recommend to anyone as the receptionist is unfriendly and if she is not in a good mood she could be really rude to you. I was standing in front of her when I entered and said "Good Morning" but she ignored me and when I said I am really sorry I am in 5 mins late because of the bus she answered 2 mins later that the nurse has left 7 mins for the test so she thinks she does not want to do this today so we have to rebook a new appointment. Plus I tried to call them 3 times that I am in late and what can I do but they did not answer the phone... Ridicoulos as I was on half day off because of this appointment which was given by them on 22nd February...Really poor service... and this was not the first time...
