Think the only thing I’ve liked is the receptionists. They are so helpful and lovely. The doctors don’t keep anything confidential. At least mine hasn’t !! Talking about me about why I went into the appointment.. w/o my consent lollll. Quite unprofessional and haven’t felt helped and came out feeling worse.

They don't take mental health conditions and neurodiversity seriously, if you struggle with either, avoid this surgery! Also I requested a blood test and screening for an illness I may have been exposed to and they didnt even order it for me. 90% of the times I've had an appointment here I have left feeling like the issue was unresolved and judged for even mentioning it, which has further increased my anxiety about visiting GPs. One time I even left in floods of tears and the GP seemed totally unbothered. I really sympathise with the way the NHS is struggling right now, and that the GPs are overworked, but I just had to say this to warn anyone in my position (mentally ill and anxious about going to the GP) to please choose another surgery!!

Dr Lees is far and away the best doctor I’ve ever spoken to. He genuinely cares about your problems. He listens to you, respects your choices and any reservations you may have, while offering his expertise & professional opinion. Doing this, all while under the constraints all doctors are in the NHS. I really appreciated every contact with him and he’s helped me with some serious long term problems.

I hadn't been to see the GP in a good few years; I booked an appointment easily once I was set up on the NHS Patient Access app with the help of the receptionist. Appointment was in two weeks time, it wasn't urgent, so this suited me fine. I saw Doc Jessica Lloyd. She was extremely helpful, listened to what I had to say and followed up with me getting some tests. I felt like she genuinely cared, and this helped put my mind to rest. Two weeks later, I had my blood taken by Samantha Edgar. This is the first time I'd had blood taken, and it was quick and painless. Overall, a very positive experience at Grange Road Surgery!

The doctors genuinely pay attention and care during appointments and always call back when needed. For the first time i feel like my medical history is known and considered when i'm at my appointments. Definitely a contrast from my previous surgery in London. The receptionists also hear you out as a client and have great customer service in my experience :)

Brilliant surgery with incredibly helpful doctors and nurses. Dr Chimenti especially is fantastic, really listens to you and is very knowledgeable. The reception team are great too, very understanding and patient with some unreasonable people!

I have been a patient at the Practice for nearly 5 years, I work in the NHS environment myself so know how hard the job can be. I cannot fault the front line staff in any way at all. Always helpful, understanding and accommodating in what ever way they can. Please treat them with the respect they are due, lets face it without them no one would get an appointment.

Sometimes you get helpful doctors and receptionists sometimes you don’t. Today was one of the days when I didn’t. The woman at the reception had absolutely no idea about the services the surgery has on their website (she had to ask a colleague loads of times), she mocked me and kept trying to hang up and speak on top of me. Extremely disrespectful. Another time I remember seeing a GP there - they sent me to the general hospital for an X-ray, the doctor at the general hospital was genuinely confused why the GP sent me there and after explaining the situation he said my GP’s acting and advice was odd and unusual. It takes ages to get through on the phone with them, and ages to get an appointment. The pandemic is over but they keep using the “unprecedented times” excuse. The only reason I’m registered here is because I don’t have any other choice, but if you do, do yourself a favour and don’t choose this surgery

Had some tests done by another clinc. Had to go through the Grange Road GP process. The results were sent to Grange Road. The clinic contacted me to get the results and froward them on. This is where the problems started. I called the surgery and explained the situation and gave them all the information to email the clinic directly. I was told that they could not directly authorise this request, as it had to be done by a secertary, but would be done as soon as possible. A couple of days passed and I chased again, explaining the same situation with the same outcome - no action taken. I assume that the reception staff do not have a call log, or a patient communcation tracking system. It seems like its managed by notes/word of mouth. On the third phone call, approximately 7 working days after the initial phone call, I asked for the results to be printed and I would collect them. Wasting resources and time for both parties.

Cancelled prescription without notice, could've led to kidney failure - on hold for 30 mins 3 times, 2 of which they answered and instantly put the phone down - Very unhelpful pharmacy assistant who told me "maybe" we can issue life saving emergency prescription. The receptionists and nurses are lovely, but my experience so far has been tainted by these other experiences..
